Money's tight, but I'm taking the LSAT in two weeks and I wanna snag a game afterwards to help with the recovery. I can really only afford one, and the above three have all been out for a bit so if you have a solid opinion on any or all of them do tell. Thanks.

I have all 3 games, so ask away.
Dark Souls is one of the most immersive and surprising games I've played in a long time.
Forza 4 is a good improvement over Forza 3, but the AI is not excellent. Just more of the same, too.
Deus Ex, just haven't got into it. I played a few hours, but it didn't grab me. I'm not a big fan of stealth, though. I guess you have to wait until you start exploring to feel that world and everything.

1) Never played dark souls, but I heard it is absurdly difficult. May not be best way to help 'recover'.
2) Forza 4 is an amazing racing game. Do you like racing games or not?
3) Deus Ex - HR : great action game with rpg elements but the story ending leaves something to be desired, Stealthy no kill runs are hampered by difficult bosses, slight frame-rate issues

Personally I loved Dark Souls (probably my GOTY 2011), and I thought Deus Ex: HR was good but not outstanding (wasn't RPGish enough for my liking). Dark Souls was a 60 hour game and Deus Ex: HR was a 23 hour game, for what that's worth. Haven't played Forza... it's not my kind of game.

Dark Souls was an amazing game, but like Demon's Souls before, the grinding can get a tad repetitive.

Deus Ex was my personal choice for GotY last year, and it is indeed a well-rounded gaming experience, with great visual style and freedom of play. I would heartily recommend it.

Forza... meh... not really into racing games.

If you can get into Dark Souls, you will have a game with a lot of content and replayability. Admittedly, the hardest part is actually getting into the game though. I'd suggest giving it a rent first if you're looking to buy it, to see if you like it. For me, it was my personal favorite game of the year.

I really enjoyed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and it would definitely be up there as far as my favorite games this year, but it's fairly short in comparison to Dark Souls. Again, it makes up for this with a lot of replayability, but it's up to you.

Never played Forza 4. Did play Forza 3 and really liked it, if that means anything.

I'm a little mixed on this.
Never played Forza, so that's out.

Dark Souls is one hell of a great experience, but its difficulty isn't for everyone.

Deus Ex: HR is a GREAT game, a bit more 'mainstream', and probably worth 60USD price tag.

I think I'm gonna take the Dark Souls plunge, it seems like once given the chance most people love it. I could definitely go for something different and rewarding.

I thought Skyrim was great, but it didn't feel all that rewarding to me. It looks like I'm gonna have to be up the challenge but people seem to suggest that Dark Souls is worth it. Thanks for the input everyone

You have a console, but don't have Dark Souls? Shame on you ser... Shame I say!

Get Dark Souls. Immense replay value and a solid 50-100 hour first time through.

Surprisingly, having played all three (well I've watched someone play Dark Souls for like an hour), I would have to pick Dark Souls.

You've only got access to a 360 right? Well Forza 4 is alright, but, not a truely perfect racing game, so I don't see why you would - if you're that into racing... anyway, its still cheaper than a PS3+GT5, moving on.

Deus Ex, again, under the assumption that you've only got a 360, would be kinda akward I think, based on how akward the controls were for PC, I'd imagine 360 would be worse considering the additive that the combat involves guns.

Dark Souls looks really well done, intensely difficult, little to no graphic requirements, but yeah in the valley of drakes remember to glitch the three drakes on the other side of the bridge, otherwise, they'll lightning you to death... (by glitch I mean bow and arrow out of their range, you can't just draw each out, they return across the bridge... why am I telling you this?).

DS, no questions asked.

As much as I love Dark Souls I have to say Deus Ex: HR. I had more fun playing Deus Ex and I found the aesthetic and game play variety both interesting and fun without the stress and fear of being murdered or falling of a ledge that I got in Dark Souls.

The boss battles are much better in Dark Souls though.

I could never get into Dark Souls for the life of me, and I quite like Demons Souls. I think it has to do with the more repetitive, and more linear level design, or the lack of surprises such as traps and pitfalls when compared to the original.

Buy Deus Ex, and get Demons Souls on the cheap.

Id have to vouch for Dark Souls.

I cant make a call on Forza 4 because i have very little interest in racing games.

Human Revolution i played on my friends PC, its a nice enough game but its just too bad for it that i consider other things to be much better.

Did you even make it to Sen's Fotress? Seriously i know both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls very well and Dark Souls is a definite improvement in all the criteria you've listed except for maybe level design, because i cant count off my head the variety of enviroments in each game.
