Today, I made a bet with a friend of mine. Sort of. If I come into school on Halloween (provided we have school that day) dressed up as Altair and free run on the school's roofs, he will pay me $200.

I will re-type that. $200 to masquerade as Altair on the roof of a high school.

Is this a good or bad idea?

Certainly a COOL idea, but I don't know if it's a good one. If you can find a proper altair costume, then by all means, do it.

I need some more details first. is the roof dangerous or hard to get to? what are the risks? and will your friend really have the money when it comes time to pay up?

A girl was suspended at my school last year when she went on the roof to retrieve a tennis ball, so I wouldn't recommend it... unless you video tape it and put it on the internet.

I feel a little tricked. The poll is asking if free-running on the roof is a good idea, and I said no.

But simply dressing up as Altier and standing on the roof and jumping at your principal. That does sound like a good idea. Then after he hits the ground, whisper in his ear, "Live by the Creed." then disappear into the crowd.

well, standing up there would be cool too.

Also dressing in cosplay is not the best way to get girls but whatever.

If they're isn't a single girl at his school that would be at least a little interested in the crazy guy jumping around on the roofs, maybe he should just save himself up until college.

Really though, it's a bad idea. You should be dressing up as Etzio instead. Christ, think next time will you?
