Well then people are completely missing the purpose of this thread! Apparently instead of saying which genres of music we like, we're supposed to be saying why we hate all the other ones. I can't believe people could be so far from truth! Thank you for correcting our ignorance.MalevolentJim said:If I had to choose I'd pick the nice and vague Heavy Metal. But I will not use this thread as an excuse to flame other types of music (which is the purpose of this thread).I try to listen to a bit of everything.
So essentially you'd be like what's-his-face from Brutal Legend then wouldn't you? I'd have to pick the same...Either that or Rock and Hip-Hop...Andreas55k said:So All music on earth suddently materialises... Armies starts to be created and mystical creatures spawn up from the ground...
WHO WIL YOU SIDE WITH?
You can come up with Certain alliances if you will.
Example :
Hip Hop and auto-tune
Rock and Heavy metal
I would Join the ranks of Rock and Heavy Metal... FOR WE WOULD SCORCH THE EARTH!! XD
I just know i would have "Deadly sinners" by "3 inches of Blood" to play at eatch epic battle.. .XD

Still waiting on my fighting game with a hip-hop inspired soundtrack.
I personally do not qualify any of the Def Jam games as fighters, especially the first one (which was through and through a wrestling game, and I classify FfNY and Icon more as "Brawlers"). And I meant the soundtrack having hip-hop sounding themes, not actual licensed songs (which is all well and good, of course, but given the custom soundtrack capabilities of today's consoles, I can do all that myself). Closest thing I have right now is Cody's theme from Super Street Fighter 4.unoleian said:I assume you mean a good one? Cuz there was that Wu-Tang: Shaolin Showdown on the PSX, and those Def Jam Fighting games more recently, too. They were all pretty crap, though.
Your logic is sound and reasonable.Daveman said:Hip Hop. I believe they have the most guns.
I'm with you. Nothing beats metalcore and death metal for me, but dubstep and drum-and-bass come up a close second.MentalBakura said:I choose an alliance of metal and electro! Death metal, prog metal and thrash, combine with the lovely sounds of electro-industrial, DnB, and erm, Deadmau5! (I would have said tech house, but it'd be a little out of place for me to say that when Deadmau5 is the only example I've listened to)
