The water's always too cold, even if the Pictou County beaches I go to are supposedly 'the warmest waters north of the Carolinas!'. I call bullshit to that. It's never warm at all. Unless the other waters are even colder, which, if so... I pity you people between there and the Carolinas.
Also, I like clothing.
I don't wear shorts in the summer.
In +30 Celsius, I was wearing a sweater. (For the Americans: think +86F)
That being said, I rather like the beach, though the water's too damn cold to swim in.
Not the crappy ones in the city, though.
Beaches in the city always suck, no matter how warm the water is. (I'm talking about Canada, remember...)
No. The reason I like the beach is that the ones I go to have big rocks.
Gigantic rocks.
Rocks that are almost a cliff face.
And I climb them anyway.
