For Part 1 follow this link http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.266368-Poll-The-Best-James-Bond-Film-Part-1-Connery#10154263

This week, we're voting on the Roger Moore James Bond films. I'm voting for The Man with the Golden Gun, and it wasn't a particularly hard choice, none of the other films by Moore come close, in my opinion.
If you need to refresh your memory, here is a short summary of the films http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond_(film_series)#Films

Once again, Happy voting!

Moonraker was one of the first James Bond films I ever saw, so it has a special place in my heart. Not to mention it's also the movie where my favorite Bond villain, Jaws, turns good, and I always thought it was really cool seeing Bond and Jaws fight together.

That, and lazers! Pew pew pew!

I always thought Moonraker was a bit farfetched, even for James Bond, which I know most are, but it was just extra out there, and was almost comical, which I think James Bond should avoid.

I can agree with that, but like I said, Moonraker just has a lot of nostalgia factor for me since it's what pulled me into the 007 franchise as a kid. But yeah, it's pretty out there, even for James Bond. Golden Gun probably is the best Moore/Bond film, but Moonraker is still my favorite.

Well at the moment it's going to go to Live and Let Died very surprising. Interesting that A View to a Kill didn't get more votes (I'm also surprised how few people are voting in these threads).

Haven't seen any James Bond films except the Daniel Craig ones in ages, ill have to fix that soon. Voted for Golden Gun, Moonraker gets points for how bat shit cuckoo the plot was (at least as far as I remember) but it just misses out.

The spy who loved me obviously.

It had the best car, the best villain (jaws), and it had one of the better stories.

The man with the golden gun was pretty good, it had a great villain, and a good setting, and not to mention the awesome golden gun.

Moonraker was just stupid, it felt like it was just a shameless cash in on the scifi era at the time. Also, Jaws gets a girlfriend....really?

Live and let die was pretty boring, it did have some good stunts in it though.

Octopussy is known as one of the worst ones, and i agree (did like Octopussy though :p).

View to kill was okay i guess, but at this time Rodger Moore was in his late fifties so he was maybe a little too old by that time. It Did have the best James Bond theme song ever though courtesy of Duran duran.

I've heard for your eyes only is the best one by Roger Moore, but it's the one i don't remember at all. Got to try and find a way to watch that one again.

It was between "for your eyes only" and "man with the golden gun" because of the people in them. Topol won in the end (over christopher lee) so for your eyes only... (it had to come down to actors in the film because I love all the old James Bond films. Bar the spy who loved me... That sucked) I think Roger Moore was better in "the Saint" though

Octopussy. Because it's the one I seen most recently. And therefore the freshest in my mind. And therefore the best.

I like the style of "Live And Let Die". That's why I want to be buried in New Orleans.

Voting for Moonraker and don't care who knows it. The humor in the film is effective, the Jaws subplot is unexpectedly involving, and sci-fi cash-in or no, there's some real majesty in the revelation of the space station.

This is all absolutely correct so must be quoted so people get a chance to read over it again. But why didn't you vote? I voted for The Spy Who Loved Me and there's only one vote there.

Ahhh hard to chose between The Man with the Golden Gun and Moonraker. But I think I'm going to have to go with the former.

View to a Kill. It had the best song of the bunch (by Duran Duran) and was also did not feel like it was trying to be so special as opposed to the other Moore-era Bond films. Although, I did really enjoy the Man with the Golden Gun and Octopussy.

Chris Walken, Topol, Christopher Lee, or Yaphet Kotto? Sorry guys it's Yaphet Kotto everytime.
Have you dug his scene?
