None of the above. Was pokemon a manga? I didn't realise.

My favourite would have to be something like claymore or Naruto. I know everyone loves to hate Naruto, but the manga is actually pretty good, even if the anime fails ridiculously.

No Hellsing? :(
I would vote Hellsing, but there's not a option for that.

edit: Now there is, HELLSING.

Love hina was actually a really enjoyable manga to read.

Negima is a little too bloated and a little too creepy for my taste.

Is hellsing any good? As in, what's it about? I never got around to watching it.

Battle Royal

It was a really interesting story about kids killing each other. Well, that's not the interesting part, the fact that the book spent more time dwelling on the psychological state of the characters as opposed to just the killings.

It was a game before it was a manga, but yeah there are several Pokemon manga. They're a lot better than the cartoon, too.

It is good, yeah. It's about a vampire working for a Protestant organisation, protecting England from other vampires, Nazis, and the Pope's special forces. It's pretty badass if you don't mind that the main character is way overpowered. Literally nothing stops Alucard.

The only manga I currently read are Zetman and Berserk, both of which are awesome. It's just a shame that Zetman isn't being translated. Since I can't read Japanese I'm limited to reading fanslations.

Berserk is a dark fantasy-style action comic about an extraordinarily strong swordsman killing lots of dudes and fighting monsters. The swordsman (called Guts or Gatts depending on translation) is looking for a way to defeat his friend who betrayed him in order to become super-powerful, and to save his girlfriend who became retarded after being raped by said friend and forced to watch all kinds of horrible things done to her other friends.

Zetman also deals with monsters, except it's set in modern times. It's about a group of ambiguously evil shape-shifting genetically engineered creatures called "players" and a player organization called "Evol", and the heroes Zet (who is also a kind of player) and Alphas (who is a normal human but wears a power-suit).

My vote as well, I'd also put Claymore and Fullmetal Alchemist. On that list I enjoy naruto and Bleach.

Hah, same here. Including the thirteenth "How to Read" volume, although it dissapointed me a little with fairly shallow content(Apart from the Ohba/Obata interviews which were fairly funky).

Got a tonne of FMA and Hellsing dvds my old math teacher gave me laying unwatched. Are the anime versions on par with the manga? (Although ive admittedly not read much FMA)

I feel that I must go with Hellsing. You know a series is good when the literally invincible, erm, protagonist is still entertaining to watch in battle in spite of the fact that you know he's always in control of the situation, though
Shroedinger did put him out of commission. I'm not sure if Alucard came back from that or not.

creepy?? how is negima creepy?? its the adventures of an unbearably cute wizard who teaches a class of sexy japanese girls, and, as the storyline developes, becomes an awesome, all-powerful demon thing

... because it heavily features a class of thirty 14 year year old girls, who frequently end up mostly nude? At least Naru was 17.

that is to say: I actually liked the story and characters of Negima - but I felt like a perv every time I bought a copy.

Wow, so none of those are good. Actually, I know next to nothing about Hellsing, so I guess I'm not free to comment there, as for the rest, yuck city. Personally speaking, I tend to like a more thoughtful manga.

If I were to pick a best manga my vote would have to go with Akira. I'm not sure how many individual issues there were, but I read it in six text book sized volumes, it took Katsuhiro Otomo TEN YEARS to write and it is an absolute masterpiece. Though, I also quite like Mushishi and Fullmetal Alchemist.
