Poll: The best of James Cameron

Ok with the 6 weeks of Avatar being the best movie of all time, and I've been thinking about watching his past works, mainly "Aliens". So I've decided to open this poll NOT as a flame war, but more as a collection of opinions on James Cameron's films. So, which one of James Cameron's films do you like? Of course I will leave out "Piranha 2"(because it's just bad) and other films not really anyone that's Fifteen know about.

I personally like Titanic the best. The atmosphere and the tension as well as the characters really portrayed what happened that night very well.
Edit: I feel lonely. Doth no one else like Titanic?

Aliens was an absolute classic, at least the best sci-fi/action of all time.

He directed it, and I think he wrote the script as well.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I mean stunning special effects, great acting, great fight sequences and just great as a whole. Probably his best work of all, and I doubt it can be topped (well, ok maybe Aliens, but I liked Terminator 2 more)

I just watched Avatar, like only a few hours ago at a 3D theater, and it was awesome.
However, it was also the only James Cameron movie I've ever seen. I hear his others weren't bad either.

I'm going to say Avatar, because I think you should rename all the films except maybe Titanic to:

JAMES CAMERON #1
JAMES CAMERON #2
JAMES CAMERON #3.

They all have so many common themes its hard to choose, but Avatar purely because of the immersion he managed to create with pandora

Avatar, saw it today and I loved it. I must say I thought it combined all my favorite things, video game esque things, star wars, and pretty much every thing else.

Avatar was a great film, as were the first two Terminator movies and The Abyss. However the James Cameron movie I'll always remember fondly is Aliens.

The first Terminator.

From what I have seen, they are great but the first Terminator is just magnificent. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and has amazing special effects. Plus, good old Arnie is perfect as the robot even if he is a bad actor.

I mean, the man invented his own frickin' camera, alien language, and encyclopedia for this movie. He must be doing something right...
