Publisher's are a fickle thing, they can either be really good, or just do something pathetic
so let's poll it out of the options which is the biggest dick move made by a publisher made this year

will add 4 more options going on forum response if anyone else can think of something the publishers have done something thats a bit of a dick move.

Edit: Added the capcom and Blizzard options and none of the above. I won't add Valve's removal of EA games, as it is quite obvious that EA did it on purpose to get their game exclusively on Origin. And that wasn't what i would call a dick move, it was a business decision. EA's Origin is a dick move. as i said vote for what you think it is. currently Origin is in the lead.

I'd much rather select Capcom involving legends 3.

EDIT: (I should probably explain my reasoning) The actual cancellation isn't the part that I find to be a dick move. It was everything involving the cancellation besides the actual announcement. We were promised that the sales of the prototype version were going to determine whether they released the actual game or not. But no, they just scrapped it out of nowhere and now they are saying the fans didn't show enough support, there was plenty of support and lots of people helping out in the dev room to work on the game. you don't see many other fans doing this. After the cancellation, they said that if they saw enough support, they would start working on it again, now that we have shown much more support through capcom_unity and facebook pages, they have said that they have no plans to work on the game again. This is why capcom is the biggest dick of 2011

Anyway my vote goes to Capcom. They seem to be killing the MM franchise and flipping off the fans. Not to mention releasing a halfassed fighter for full price only to re release it a few months later.

COD elite is because activision is ripping off people for stuff that companies like bungie is doing for free.

I'd probably say Blizzard due to their bullshit auction house legitimising slave-trade farming with their real world currency auction houses in Diablo 3. Also the fact that they'll charge to you to list your item, charge you when you win an item and charge you when you try to convert your in game currency back to real world money... That's worse than eBay. Also buying power is the most retarded thing ever since there's also PvP.

EDIT: Also, what the hell is wrong with online passes? It's the only way a publisher will get any money from use games. If you're really that pissed about it, blame the stores that try and force you to buy used games over new ones.

EDIT 2: Also blizzard have said mods aren't supported. This is so they can nickel and dime you even more.

The In-game auction house thing is a good idea to be honest, fights back agains gold selling companies gives Blizzard some additional profits and allows us players to make real money from playing a game.
