In the latest podcast they talk about their weekly DnD game. I recently started watching Rollplay done by JP and crew from MLG/starcraft. I found it highly entertaining even as someone who has never played DnD before. I'd love too see another show fill the gap between sundays and the next Rollplay.

Eh.

As a avid roleplayer I don't think its a good idea.

People tend to let loose and have fun when they roleplay, putting a camera there and having them behave more in line with their jobs seems like it would ruin their fun.

I don't need to see every little thing the escapist crew does.

I sort of agree. While a game session is fun, it may not be as much for an observer. Especially one that close to the player - if you just sit there and watch them play in person it might be alrigh but recorded stuff just isn't the same. We don't really know the people that well and a lot of the fun in the session is from knowing them, making small references and just having a laugh with friends. You sort of lose that if you're not in the game or the company. I've watched some screened games (the one with the Penny Arcade guys, and another one for the launch of the Red Box) and...they were OK, but they weren't typical sessions - you get the same people but the circumstances are different.

OK, while I'm not entirely against the idea of the sessions being recorded, I'm just not sure how appealing they'd be.
