Um...none? I mean, it's spring down here. XD

But for me, it's probably Gears of War 4, though I've got some interest in all entries on the list bar Modern Warfare.

Eh, none of them really interest me, especially as I haven't played a multiplayer shooter for a long time. Battlefield 1 initially seemed interesting, but the prevalence of automatic weapons just makes it look like a reskinned 3 and 4 in all honesty. I was hoping for more aim based bolt action combat, but such doesn't seem to be the case.

I have to admit, people saying this irks me. While sure, maybe in the beta people were using automatics, they are the worst fucking guns in the game. The SMGs have recoil to high heaven, and the spread on the LMGs combined with a couple of weird mechanics makes the gunplay feel like bloody Borderlands. On the other hand, the DMRs and bolt actions are in the best shape they have ever been in the Battlefield franchise. They fire fast, hit hard, and if you need to get up close, pistols can actually outgun some automatic weapons.

For me its more the fact they are there more than anything else. SMG's and easily portable fully automatic weapons were hardly commonly fielded in WW1, even during the later stages. I had hoped they would put much more of an emphasis on the bolt action's rifles, but I suppose that would slow down Battlefields fast paced gameplay too much. I don't mind stuff that isn't realistic or entirely period accurate, but all the footage I've seen just showed its really not for me.

Battlefield 1 has very solid, punchy feeling weapons with satisfying reloads and weighty rewarding gameplay. All round very impressive to immerse into.

Shadow Warrior 2 duh!

Though I'll hold out some hope for Titanfall having more depth than the first as that had excellent gameplay overall.

Also could you have picked a more brotastic selection of game for your poll?

None. The only way I will care about a shooter again is if they ever get around to making Battlefield Bad Company 3.
Here is the thing - they're not going to, because DICE themselves have stated they have no fucking idea why everyone has such a hard-on for the series. Their only guess is that it was because it was the first time destruction found its way into the series and everyone remembers how awesome that was - but the destruction got better in later games, no one cared about the campaign anyway and they improved on basically everything in the gameplay department.

Most likely because Bad Company 2 was the last one that had proper server side hit detection, in fact proper server side everything, with client side being introduced with BF3. This meant that yes while the hit detection was not always perfect (something that all Battlefields suffered from) because your connection to the server was always stable and always the same you could compensate for the slightly wonky hit boxes. The god awful client side system introduce in BF3 meant that you could take a shot at one guy and hit perfectly but the next guy to pop up could have an awful connection and that often meant you would get owned. The hit detection was based on YOUR connection to the guy you were shooting at and it was a fucking mess, and last I heard it was still a fucking mess well in to BF4's launch.

On top of all that the client side system also meant you saw some of the most amazing and powerful cheats I'd ever seen. BF2 had commander hacks (annoying) (BFBC2 had a few aim botters) Bf3 introduced guys who could kill you with media packs and shoot you while you were in tanks and punkbuster is and was utter wank (though I am lead to believe that the BF series has now dumped that pile of steaming horse piss.)

I dropped the BF series part way through 3, having played both BF2 and BFBC2 to utter death during their life span, never bother with 4 because I had assumed that it would suffer from all the same issues that BF3 introduced (which I am lead to believe it did, at least at launch) BF1 has got my interest again but I am holding fire on a pre order until I get a confirmation that

a). The anti cheat system works
b). The client side hit detection, which I assume they will push on with, has seen some real improvements
c). That the game is more than a BF3, BF4 clone with a WW1 reskin.

As for the other shooters due out, I couldn't give two squrits of piss stained jizz about them especially since if BF1 turns out to be arse they will have all been utterly shat on by Doom.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. It looks like they are doing some cool stuff with it, at least the single player, although the multi does have the weapon crafting system which could be cool or could suck the big one. I wish they had just gone with the movement system in advanced warfare since I didn't really like the wall running in blops3 but the extra jump was fun.

I would be more interested in titan fall or bf1 but I don't trust ea with digital content and those wont be coming to steam. I was excited for shadow warrior 2 but it sounds a bit too much like borderlands which I could never get into.

I plan on getting Gears since I liked the franchise on my 360 and by all accounts the PC version of 4 is great. Other than that, I'm interested in both BF1 and Titanfall 2 but I'm not sure I have enough time to give all these games attention and get my money's worth. I played the BF beta and it was good but I didn't come away from it craving more necessarily.
