My roommate and I were positive that it was a fake commercial, meant to inspire ironic humor, but the website looks legitimate enough and the idea (while being so strange and un-game-worthy in my mind) could have selling potential with the super-religious parent crowd.
I wonder now more than ever if games, like books and movies, are turning into a medium. Though games have long been used to pass the time, there was a point in time when they were used to teach lessons to children without boring them. We'll see whether this will revolutionize learning or bring a new level to the Christian experience, but I doubt we'll be seeing a copy of Meditation Hero in stores any time soon.
