Poll: The Greatest Star Wars Game

KoTOR 2 is and always will be the greatest Star Wars game ever. It sucks ass though because my disc is scratched and I'm so close to being finished.
I've only played the Battlefront games and Republic Commando (which sucked pretty bad on the whole) so I'm going for Battlefront 2 because I really liked the whole playable heroes thing and the race and class diversities.
Ok, to leave off the GREATEST Star Wars game ever, Tie Fighter, is a travesty.
And not to include Dark Forces and/or Jedi Knight (ant of them). That's some sort of double travesty.
And there were some fairly decent early console Star Wars games, like some of the 'Super' titles. And what about Star Wars Chess? And even Episode I Racer?
And there was a Star Wars Arcade Cabinet that was damn fine, too.

There have been some reputedly very good Star Wars games that I've never played, including KOTOR, but of the ones I have, probably X-Wing. I also have fond memories of the arcade cabinet: "Use the force, Luke...". My girlfriend claims the greatest Star Wars game is Yoda Stories, though. Whatever that is.
The poll is absolutely moot without TIE Fighter or the Dark Forces / Jedi Knight series being on the list.
Now, those aren't my favorites -- KOTOR is -- but without them there's really not much to say.
TIE Fighter is an absolutely genre-defining game and the Jedi Knight series has some of the best gameplay of any of the Star Wars games (certainly better than KOTOR).

I'd have to say the X-wing/TIE Fighter series were the best. Tons of missions, in depth story, it was almost perfection!
An extremely close runner up is Dark Forces. Jedi Knight is not quite there though.
Personally, I'm sick and tired of Jedi. I want something where I don't have to worry about being good or bad, I just want to do stuff. That's why I like all those non-Jedi games. Battlefront doesn't count, they have Jedi too.

She's right. that was one of the best. I only had the demo though. Could never find a full version copy....kailsar said:

Though I have to give props (I'm gangsta, yo) to both KoTORs, Damn near any game that let you fly, and Republic Commando will always be welcome in my home.

KotOR, definitely. Though if KotOR 2 had actually been FINISHED, my vote would be different.
