I knew the Incredible Changing Aspect Ratios very well. I have seen it in Disney's Brother Bear, when, after 24 minutes, and right after Kenai is turned to a bear, the aspect ratio is also transformed from a standard 1.85:1 ratio to a much wider 2.35:1 aspect ratio to subtly tell you guys that Kenai is now seeing through different eyes (that of a bear). Agree?

And Have you ever seen the Incredible Changing Aspect Ratios in Movies and/or other media?

Thanks for introducing me to this effect, I never fucking realized it (but I also haven't seen any of the films you posted in the poll). I'll check them all out.

The Dark Knight on blu-ray has changing Aspect Ratios, switches between IMAX and Cinemascope depending on whether the scene is action or dialogue based. Some think it detracts, but really, an average film water isn't going to notice.
