Once upon a time on the internet I was having a discussion with a girl who claimed to be into all kinds of sex. When I asked her what was the most extreme thing she was in to, she hesitated. After some persuasion she finally admitted that she had tried scat which to those who were previously blissfully ignorant, involves playing with shit in a sexual way... Yeah... As you do... I wasn't that suprised given the nature of our conservation but I did make a comment saying that I thought she was going to say beastiality for a moment (animal sex). To which she replied "omg that's just disgusting!". Which I found a bit surprising, all things considered.

Now being a relatively normal guy with relatively normal sexual preferences, I kind of put the two on about equal standings on the deviant scale. To satisfy my morbid fascination on the subject I would like to know the escapists position on the question indicated in the poll.

I know this is a pretty disgusting topic and I dont mind if it is locked, but at least let it get 100 poll responses before it vanishes. Its not exactly the kind of question I want to post on facebook for fairly obvious reasons and since I don't know of anywhere better I thought i'd try my luck here...

If the Escapist can manage a mature discussion here i'd be impressed but i'm not hopeful. Lets try and keep it clean fellas.

It's still rape even if the victim can't feel it, yanno. The point is whether they agree to it, not whether it physically harms them.

But yeah, bestiality is way worse than scat -- like everyone said above, it's due to consent issues. If people are consensually doing X, then X is better than anything rapey. (Even if X makes me want to gouge out my eyes, shower fully-clothed and never love again. )

And as you can tell with my vote, yeah I'm not against bestiality on principle. *Prepares flame shield* Now I don't condone rape in any form, but everyone assumes bestiality is all animal rape. I'd stay far away from both. I think bestiality is wrong on just about every level, and as for scat, well, let's just say the Internet has some funny tricks up its sleeve (Not 2g1c, no. Far worse than that), but I'm still more okay with it because if two people get each other off by smearing crap all over each other, it's still better than some dude goin' to town on some sort of an animal.
