But here goes.

What is (from your perspective) the meaning of life?

If you think I'm a total tosser for asking about this, don't bother replying to this topic.

The scientific reason is for reproduction, which is pretty much redundant. Religions agree that it is to move on the the higher plane.

honestly, the answer is whatever you want it to be. There is no objective reason, so the answer could for all intents and purposes be, 42, as long as you want it to be.

The goal of life shall be to reproduce and attempt to increase the quality of life for your children. Through introspective analysis and personal evolution I believe humanity will begin to accept science and religion as complementry to each other. Once this has happened we may finally have peace and start the process of healing the planet and working on a way to sustain the human race indefinately and then, to explore the stars, star trek style...
