Am I the only one feeling that there is something missing in this new season of Doctor who????
I try to compare it with the previous episodes, the majority being the seasons with David Tennant. For the most part it seems...de-fanged. At least in my opionon. Lacking substance, and i'm not blameing that on the New actor. Bow Ties are cool. I can't really put it into words but here's hoping I'm not the only one to notice a lack of something.
there's less sepsence, less threat. ex: they bring back the weeping angels and i was expecting to be scared half to death and love every second but... does not compare to "Blink", thats all i can say there without spoilders. What I will say is the massive inconsistency. and not just in "Time of the Angels" episode.
Best example, (I cant be the only one that noticed this): Spoilder Warning: in "Blink" there was a photo of an angel which did nothing, nor did the eye thingy even be hinted at.
The glitches in the writing are only one complaint I can find. Some of the episodes seemed more character based and the ordeal takes a back seat, or the solution makes me yell "Cop Out". Although that could just be me and I'm a Plot person.
