Poll: The Ultimate Sci-Fi Universe

Ok, so this is my first topic/poll ever so ya, we all gotta start somewhere right ?

So, if you had to craft and inhabit a future sci-fi universe, what would it be ? Would it be one of those boring peaceful utopias or would it be one of those war is never ending type reality ?

Personally, I think warhammer 40k has one of the awesome backgrounds ever written out but I can't help but wonder what would happen if science was re-discovered.

Everyone has a vision of the perfect future and without a doubt, any of those can happen if enough time passes, so, anyway, what are your thoughts ?
