You heard me, "Twilight" was honored in a horror movie montage that included such films as "Jaws", "Silence of the Lambs", "Friday the Thirteenth", "The Shining", "The Exorcist", and "Rosemary's Baby" among others.

As another personal slap in the face of horror movie fans, the tribute to horror films was actually presented on stage by the two stars of the second Twilight film.

Your thoughts?

While this is almost certainly true, it's not the usual method that horror films use to scare the audience.

at least aliens and Evil Dead 2 were in the montage.

Oh, and I call utter bullshit on the Hurt Locker winning best picture.

But to be honest, "Silence of the Lambs" is more drama and "Aliens" is definitely Sci-Fi.

Though I can overlook those mistakes. This one.......Twilight......honestly???

Well it clearly horrified you enough to make this thread, right?

Evil Dead 2 got the same amount of screen time as Twilight. How's that make you feel?

Not the film, but the ooze in the brains of the film maker that made the montage.

I did hear that Bella canonically suffered from many brain contusions. She's a smart and pretty little flower! Really! She just makes such horrible decisions and trips over nonexistent rocks because she hit her head one too many times.

My reaction. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDQuBUy1dgo]

Seriously, have the people who run the oscars had lobotomies? Putting Twilight in with all of those films would be like putting a piece of paper smeared with feces in the Lourve. I am now convinced that the Oscars are run by chimpanzees.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's just a movie. Some people like it, some don't. So what? Most horror movies are frankly crap anyway, there's only a tiny handful of genuinely good ones.

MY god, this is a joke, it has to be. Twilight isn't even a horror movie. Sparkling does NOT = horror. No way can it be compared to any of those great horror movies listed above, they aren't in the same genre let alone the same league even though the characters in general are of horror nature, but the movie over all is not horror. Goes to show that for the media the more money a movie makes the better the movie must be... it's TOTAL bullshit.

I would agree with that, but it was just way too boring to be anything but dull enough to make you want to kill yourself rather than keep watching it.

Pissed off. They didn't even bother to show Ash's Chainsaw arm. Furburt will be pissed.
