Yeah, It's valentines day, both the loneliest, and the most loving holiday all in one.
I'm here to ask how you members of the Escapist might be spending your Valentines Day, or if you even celebrate it at all.

And don't make this some really depressing thread for all you lonelies.

I myself am planning on sitting down with Bioshock 2 for the day. I'm at a stage where I really don't feel the need for a relationship, and if I were to ask the girl I was gunnin' for out today, it would just be far too cliche anyway.

I'm a hopeless romantic, so I'll be crying while I cuddle with Tali in Mass Effect 2...

I'll be playing Bioshock 2 too...

Even if I had a girlfriend, I doubt I'd want to do anything out of the ordinary on valentines day. Just not that kind of person.

I don't celebrate it. Mainly because I don't have a girlfriend, find the candy chalky and unpleasent, and this concept of "wuv" confuses and infuriates us!

Plus I just plain don't care.

I can't even remember what day its on.

Don't have a relationship. Don't want a relationship.
Celebrating it alone would be more pitiful than making up reasons to avoid it, and my pitiful meter is already too full to add more, so I won't be celebrating.

I have shared this video with my friends to celebrate St. Valentine's Day.

Hey, it's a love song. *shrug*

Another one of these? Is this some sort of coping mechanism for dateless wonders...step 1. make sure youre not the only one step 2. declare your proud reasons why you "choose" to not have a girlfriend on this day step 3. Read comments and cry yourself ot sleep...
I don't choose not to have a girlfriend. I'd love one.
I just don't think I'm at that stage with the girl I like yet.

It's Valentine's Day today, as I'm writing this post. My girlfriend stayed over last night, we're going to see a movie today. This sequence of events are in no way related to Valentine's Day; this is a normal routine for us on any given Sunday.

While I tend to think of it as a commercialised, meaningless holiday while I'm single... I can't deny the fact that I would enjoy it if I had a partner. That would be hypocritical.

Have no time for it, I'm not here to fill the pockets of money grubbing card companies. If my husband needs to show me he loves me by getting me a card on Valentine's day it means we aren't showing we matter to each other the rest of the year.
I'll be ignoring it as usual!

Usually, I go out with friends. If I'm with someone, we'll do the obligatory stuff. Not much of a romantic, to be honest.
