Hey, does anyone remember the Valley of the Flood hoax? Back in the day, before Skyward Sword was announced, a (fake) interview between Eiji Aonuma and an unknown interviewer named Kyle was posted on various websites, discussing a supposed upcoming Zelda title called Valley of the Deluge/Valley of the Flood. There were certain red flags that made its status as a hoax somewhat obvious, but many people overlooked them because of one simple fact: the premise the hoax set up was incredible. The full interview is here [http://www.gemakei.com/forums/index.php?topic=13375.0], but a summary of the premise: Ganondorf has returned to power in a more industrilaized Hyrule, and a delusional young man who believes himself to be Link rises up to fight him and help the people of Hyrule. Ultimately, though saving many people, he fails, and Hyrule is flooded, creating the world seen in Wind Waker.
I have two questions. One, if Nintendo actually decided to make this, would you buy it? (answer in the poll above.) And two, what reason do they have NOT to make it? It sounds amazing. (answer in your post.)
