At the moment, books. I can sit in silence, just reading, for hours and not be bored.

Music is definitely straight after though. Keeps me sane during traveling on public transport, walking, etc.

Potentially, everything that is done in books, music and movies can all be done by a video game - and it can make it better than the original format. It's just that, at the moment, we're still figuring out how games work.

That said, there are times when you don't want to have to interact with a game to make it do something that a piece of music or a movie can do just as well.

I'd say it goes games, movies, music then books for me.

Most important art form for me would be anime(would that count as movies?), then books, video games, and then music.

Oh thats tough. I would have to say a tie between books and music. If I had to pick one, probably books. I loved books when I was in highschool. Always had one with me. I still love them but not as much.

Books definitely. Movies are just an escapism for me, music is to drown out the noise of my family, and games are just for light entertainment.

Music definitely. I am a overly-logical person and the soul in music is just such a change, and good music is awesome .. also I sing to it when I am alone in my home.

and I quote:
"Video Games, Video Games, Video Games Games Games" - Doctor (Breen? Never sure about his name) from The Idiots Of Garry's Mod
Although books are very important to me. and a few select film and select music.

I expected books to be last, but look there! I vote books, because that's pretty much what I spend all of my time doing...Haha...I need a girlfriend.

I chose books because a book doesn't make you feel functionally retarded if you can't beat Seth in Street Fighter IV without dying a lot, or if you can't play an instrument really well. And I write books anyway, so reading them is important in informing my work.

Music is an integral part of human life, and it's part of all the other given choices but books. There are very few movies that don't have a soundtrack, the only one I can name off the top of my head being The Birds. There isn't a culture that doesn't have some form of music.

The other options are important, but music really takes the cake.

I'd say books, and then games and films get joint second place.

This is because most of our knowledge is stored in books, and I get roughly equal entertainment form games and films.
