Mage. Why try solving you're problems with blades or arrows when you can just bend reality to make them solve themselves?

Change that 'Rogue with two daggers' To just 'Melee rogue' And that's me.

I don't know why Rogues are always stuck with daggers - Assassin's should be.

Rogue with two swords ftw.

EDIT: Let me elaborate, I'm all RPG's I play as lightly armored scout character with a fancy sword who flanks his enemies.

Combat Rogue in WoW
Duelist in Dragon age.
Witchhunter in Warhammer
Barbarian in AoC
Smuggler in Star wars galaxies.

So yes, change the Option of two daggers to Melee rogue or Dual Wield Rogue

Or I will be very upset and write an angry letter -.-
Can't change an answer once people have voted for it. I really didn't expect there to be many rogues at all.

I play berserker style classes so I'd have to go with 2h weapon warrior as the closest match. Call me Druss.

Dual wielding rogue. Makes me terrible at solo fighting though, I need people to keep the enemies occupied while I care out their internal organs.
I've ended up using one sword and one dagger, don't know why I don't find another good dagger...

I picked a healing/support mage for the character I got the farthest in the game with. It made everything a hell of a lot easier when I could heal the other three fools in my party so they didn't die to EVERYTHING.

Hahaha - No worries.

You never expect rogues to be the most popular class, they always are though -.-

My favorite setup, in games that support that kind of thing, is a dual weapon warrior. I've always felt that two weapons are just twice as cool as a single weapon. There's something about rushing into combat, dealing death with both hands...

Heavily armoured greatsword wielding warrior. Puny daggers and shortswords have no chance of penetrating the armour and in the right hands a two handed sword isn't much slower. Also a more versatile weapon. Halbschwerten and Mordhau area badass.

Remember kids, speed doesn't remove the need for protection.

I tried everything through (well ... most basic set-ups) before I settled on a mage (whom I gave arcane warrior and will give spirit healer). I use glyph spells, ice spells, and paralysis spells. So yeah, I like disabling my opponents and letting Alistair, Shale and ... whoever else I feel like at the time do the damage. After all, I tend to need to meticulously control the mage any way, so I may as well make her my main (as I tend to control the main as it just feels .... right, to me anyway).

EDIT: I should probably add that I thoroughly enjoyed my shield-axe dwarf character, as the stun and knock-down effects are always helpful, and unless I am just some kind of freak of nature, the shield-bashing type attacks tended to shatter enemies more easily than regular attacks.

I tend to play focused spell Mages as opposed to the two in the list. (Healing or AoE)
I like lightning bolts, fire bolts Stonefist projectiles anything that is a direct Mage-to-enemy spell.
AoE is all good, but only when you can guarantee the enemy is going to be there when you cast it.

Although I have to force myself to agree, Mages in Dragon Age are just an odd set up, they're bogged down with so many choices of spells that I couldn't honestly be bothered to figure out which way I wanted to go about it until I'd already wasted hard-earned level stat points finding out what they all do...

So after a couple of tries I arrived at Sword and Shield warrior.
I love the class and weapon combination.
Which is weird for me because I'm so determined to do nothing but cause damage.
But there I was with a shield.

Reminded me of the good days of Starcraft where I'd build nothing but Protoss cannon sentries xD

I try to go with the 2 handed axes or swords, just for that berserker kinda feel. But only in games where it works, like Mount&Blade. Not in games like Oblivion. In that game I had to use a shield, which made me feel like a wussy.

My first choice was sword and shield ,second time i picked a warrior with two long swords and heavy armor. Warrior with two swords was much more fun ,and he dealt way more damage ,now im playing as a mage and its kinda lame ,all i do is sleep and heal ,sometimes cast walking nightmare to make enemies attack each other.

Dual wielding rogue/ ranger type. Other than that I'll sometimes play a two-handed weapon warrior.

I like using a two-handed sword as a warrior. Something about jumping into the fray with a big ass sword appeals to me greatly.

Mage and usually end of specializing into whatever the darker magic is. Necromancer, Warlock, Blood Mage etc.
