First off, i don't care if you hated the endings or their pretty color arrangements, im just trying to post something that was on my mind after i beat the single-player and opted to get the "Blue" or "Control" ending
So i killed Martin Sheen's character 'The Illusive Man' and said to myself "Yup, I had a feeling that that mofo was crazy" so as ascend and talk with the Space Child, i conclude that the only way to save organic life was to control the reapers. So as I sat and watched the blue light show and watch Commander Shepard's skin vaporize I realized "Holy Shit! The Illusive Man was Right!"
It made me wonder if he was crazy after all. I mean he was pretty damn convincing in ME2 and the character I played was Pro-Humanity to an extent, but i never knew if push came to shove It would be his choice that would win.
In my mind the other two endings weren't the best choice. The "Destroy" or "Red" had all advanced technology destroyed, basically setting galactic civilization back +/- 20k years. And the "Green" Ending was kinda bland because it were to synthesize man and machine, and I didn't like the picture that was in my head. It kinda defeated the purpose of trying to preserve organic life.
So that's what's been in my head lately. Am I crazy for putting to much thought in that or was The Illusive man right?
