Poll: Werewolves Or Vampires (NOT TWILIGHT)

This is what i'm talking about
(except instead of that Girl vampire make it.... um.... Alucard)

So, If you could choose between the 2 which would you be?
I, personallay would be a werewolf.
(This is not a war between species, this is which would you perfer if given the choice)

Let's lay down some guidelines here:
Werewolves:
Werewolves can choose when they change(This requires practice)
Werewolves CAN control themselves (primal instinct can control them when neccesary)
Werewolves can and WILL hunt in packs
Silver does not kill them, but it does do considerable damage
You gain more canine features in human form
you are more aggresive in human form

Vampires:
THEY DO NOT SPARKLE
They do require regular amounts of blood
they have A LOT more self control than werewolves
They're paler(lack of blood, duh)
They have the ability to become a bat
They're weakness is DIRECT light (artificial is fine)

Humans:
Why did you choose this one?
They.... have flesh?
Cookies
Cutlery? no wait... Vampires have that too.
I'm lost at this point

I'd have to go Werewolf here too. As much as I like Vampires, I think I'd feel embarrassed about the bad rep that they get since Twilight came out. Also, Werewolves don't have to kill; I just know that I'd get really guilty about all the people I'd kill as a vampire. Also, I'd actually be able to say with conviction that I have a dark side that no-one would want to get on the bad side of...

Anyway, I'd probably go Werewolf because they're pretty cool. I'd like to be able to learn to control my wolf-ier bits, but if I couldn't then it isn't like people could shoot me dead. We don't make silver bullets like they used to.

Vampire. Gotta be. Increased lifespan, the ability to come back after being killed (barring certain methods of corpse disposal), permanent super-strength & speed... plus daylight is overrated anyway.

as mythology states, lycanthropes have been subervant to vampires but they have been awesome and are cooler to look at unless you look at what the fangirls have done to them, pre-twilight anyway. i am still more partial to the pheonix who is my favorite mythical beast but no one is going to make a shitty movie based around them...but sparkling birds of fire do sound kind of kick ass

Werewolves of course. You can go out in the day, they are generally stronger (in most movie/shows) than vampires, and and because if I am going to go on a killing spree, I want to look like a beast doing so and have an alibi when the police come around.

Me: No. It was some big ass wolf! Just ask those guys over there.

Random Guy: Yeah, it was some huge wolf that took the guy apart.

...I don't really want your specific definition of a vampire. I prefer the Vampire type from the film/book Let The Right One In.

Permanent state of age you were turned.
Immortal.
Can only drink blood and require it for sustanance.
Advanced strength, agility and advanced regeneration.
Can grow nails + Climbing skills.
See in the dark.
Sunlight is damaging and will kill if exposed long enough.
Flight by creation of wings.
Need to be told they are allowed to come in to be able to enter an owned area, unless it is theirs or else they could die if they just walk in.
Cats hate Vampires.

I'm gonna have to say werewolf here, because obtaining a regular food supply as a vampire would be a pain ('nother body in the celler....). Plus, werewolves, (from what you've mentioned above) would be able to hide much more easily and wouldnt have to worry about being found out (i'd be stressed out about my next meal, etc).

Then with vampires theres the off chance you might end up lookin like this dashing fellow:

I pick werewolf. It was always vampires before but I think I'd be better as a werewolf. I'd want to be able to watch the sunset and sunrise without worrying about dying. xD
