Poll: Wet or Borderlands

I was thinking about what game I should get and narrowed it down to Wet and Borderlands, now I have played the Wet demo and it is freakin awesome, however the only thing I know about borderlands is what I read on wikipedia.

Which one should I get?

Borderlands looks awesome, haven't played it yet (PC User here!), but it can't be worse than WET.

Wet is great fun, but I'd go with Borderlands if you're torn between the two. It's a much better option if you're looking to buy.

Borderlands, a thousand times Borderlands.

On one hand you have a gimmicky Max Payne clone with a gritty filter and on the other you have a gorgeous FPS/RPG with a unique art style, over 3 million guns, and a large and expansive world to explore.

Man, I can't wait to get Borderlands.

And it isn't 3 million guns. Supposedly, it's more like 17,700,000 guns. Mind-boggling, isn't it?

Wet reminded me of Stranglehold which I couldn't stand playing. So I'd go with Borderlands instead of Wet.

BORDERLANDS, Wet is way too small of a game and only takes 6 hours to complete after the rplay value. I can see borderlands taking over 100 hours away from my life. Its already got 12 credited to it.

Wet received some really bad reviews. I'd go with Borderlands, which everyone I heard from liked.

WET, in my opinion, was fuckin awesome if you like the Tarantino-esque feeling. That was the saving factor in the game for me. I ignored all flaws in the game for the B-movie / grindhouse feeling. However, that said, it's still doesn't warrant a buy. I was able to play through it 3 times with a 5-day rental, so just stick with that.

To answer that, you've got to ask yourself what you look for in a game: Style or substance? Wet's got style by the boatload, but it's pretty shallow once you get past all the cool moves. Borderlands, on the other hand, can get repetitive, and sometimes even dull, but it's miles and miles deeper than Wet in terms of gameplay and story.

Borderlands. Wet got boring and repetitive by the end of the 10 minute demo I played, I couldn't imagine playing the whole game.

Borderlands is original, insane, frantic fps/rpg fun.
Wet is just.... ugh... watch Yahtzee's review.
I personally knew it was going to be awful after playing 20 minutes into the demo.
Then I stopped, and deleted it off my hardrive.

I love this, this is a thread where I can direct a fellow human away from an awful game and to a better one. Now I have tried both games and Borderlands is A LOT better than wet. Let me tell you Borderlands is like Fallout 3 except different enough to be just about better, Wet is repetetive and is just plain terrible I would go on about it more but I don't even want to talk about that game.
