Poll: What 40k games need to be made?

What more need I say?
Sim City/Tycoon: Planetary Governor Sim with random events being things like Imperial Guard recruitment and tithe going up or down.
Operation Flashpoint: The ultimate Imperial Guard game. Better yet, a PDF game. Finish this in a weekend!
Gears of War: A slightly more ridiculous imperial guard game, probably casting you as storm troopers or cover using space marines.
Homeworld: Battle Fleet Gothic. With 5km long cathedral topped frigates who needs tanks?
Mass Effect: RPG Shooter. I have no idea what could be done to make this work but if it did...
Silent Hill: Because the Empire IS survival horror. In a setting where the power armoured space marines can be outmatched, what hope do you have?
Dungeon Keeper: Um... I Don't Know? A chaos world governor game? A very paranoid inquisitor?
Other: Diablo, Cooking Mama, Mortal Kombat? you know the drill.

I'm gonna say Homeworld, if for nothing but the humiliation of beating the enemy with St. Paul's Cathedral. Just a shame that none of the other factions with the possible exception of the Eldar have awesome enough ships to constitute scenery porn.

Id have to say Gears of War.

They replace the Lancer Chainsaw with a Chainsword for the pistol that replaces The Melee attack.

RPG/FPS combo would work pretty well based loosely off the Dark Heresy Tabletop game. Cooking mama has my attention as well though, I can only imagine.

Those chaos boyz, usually use them same ships just with a couple more "accessories."

exept i wouldt like it to be guardsmen vs tyranids on the planetside.
you start of in a ship, you get ordered down into the loading bay, you land and you see a huuge landscape already bursting with fights everywhere, then the comisar orders you all to get of, and then you are on your own. of course this would take an incredible strong computer to make all the cpu's but it would still be epic

Some sort of RPG game based on Ben Counter's grey knights books would be amazingly sweet.
Imagine using your nemesis halberd, storm bolter and of course your grey knight psychic powers as Justicar Alaric; the troops and technology wielded by inquisitor Nyxos; or the agility and natural strength of one of Ligea's death cult assassins to cut down hordes of cultists, demons and heretics.

I dont want an WH40K game to be another game with Wh40K plastered over it. I want it to be unique and true to the fighting in 40K. Something like a blaneblade commander.

Although Mass Effect could work would have to be an inquisitor or the like.

I had to go for homeworld gothic for the same reason. A 40k FPS would run the risk of being a cut-and-paste-your-franchise bland game. Also there already making it, look up space marine! A mass effect rpg set in an eldar craftworld would be fucking epic though....

Games I'd enjoy:

- Halo style game, where you play as an Eldar Exarch.
- Space RTS involving the main BFG races (Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Tau, Humans, Chaos, etc), possibly using homeworld mechanics.
- Mass Effect style game, play as perhaps a Tau.

Most of all though, I'd love it if a developer could pull off an RPG where the player is a Necron Lord.

But hey, if it's a game where you can only play on one side, don't make that side be humans or chaos, I'm tired of getting human campaigns, I want to play as an alien. Preferably Necrons, Eldar, Dark Eldar, or Tau. Another human game (like that space marine travesty) would be simply a disappointment, and I'd rather see no game at all than have Games Workshop think, "Well, we only gave the players one choice, guess that means everyone loves humans because they all picked the only choice we gave them!"

Also, an action RPG casting you as an Inquisitor would be ace. Anyone who's played Dark Heresy or read Eisenhorn will know what I mean.

W40k Squad Combat FPS. With Space Marines. They would have to work melee in too. fights against chaos marines should be epic. I also imagine ripping a firewarriors head off.
