Poll: What did you think of Daikatana?

I recently read "Masters of Doom" (EXCELLENT book) and towards the end it went into the nightmare that was the developement of Daikatana, one of the gaming industry's biggest flops(It actually sold a somewhat decent amount of copies, but the budget was REALLY high for a game like that at the time, so it barely made any money, especially by Doom/Quake standards).

I never played Daikatana, and all of the reviews I've read reviews ranging from "It's okay" to "The worst piece of sh!t ever created." I even read one or two good reviews. However, now that 12 years have passed, I want a second opinion from a trustworthy group of gamers.

So Escapists, what did you think of Daikatana?

If you want a trustworthy second opinion from this group of gamers, you should add a "Haven't Played It" option to your poll, otherwise people who haven't played it will probably choose one of the negative options based on hearsay (I know I'd rather choose the option closest to my opinion rather than not vote in a poll, even if my opinion is invalid and my choice spoils the poll).



As for me, I haven't played it but I've heard it's bad.
