When I actually do play it, I tend to play on Expert.

Then again, that doesn't exactly mean I'm good at it.

I play on expert and it has been a long journey (..oh yes it has).
I got the first Guitar Hero when it first came out and climbing up to expert took alot of play time.

I have Rock Band, not Guitar Hero, but they're pretty similar. I don't play it that often, but I can play hard on most of the easier songs.

I play on hard, though I hardly play.

On drums? I never play on that.

Expert guitar/bass, Hard Drums, Med Vocals.

In a lot of cases on WT, I actually had to play Hard Guitar. Only the last few sets though.

I play on expert almost all the time (TTFAF and Raining Blood are exceptions). Took a while, but I got there.

Drums I can only play on medium, but I've only played it a couple times.

I've played on expert ever since Guitar Hero 2, which was the first one I got.
Though, lately I've taken a liking to playing expert drums on Rock Band.
Very fun.

Drums: Expert/Hard
Guitar: Expert/Hard
I don't sing unless I know the song well... Plus Guitar Hero has bad vocals...

Just pratice. Eventually, you'll be able to play on expert. Work out some methods with moving your hand up and down the fretboard, and Bob's your uncle, Sally's your aunt, you can master Guitar Hero/Rock Band

You NEED to get the hang of being in time with strumming up and down. Use practice mode or the no fail cheat and just pick a song that has loads of strumming and just keep alternating until you get it right without breaking your streak. Also if you've beaten medium but not scored at least 90%+ with a 250+ note streak on the songs then you practice more on medium before you pick hard.

Also remember you can hold the lower note down and still play the higher one if it's not a chord, that should help you a lot with solos. Playing solos on Guitar Hero 3 is easier because you don't have to wait for the hammer-ons to cross the strikeline to play them so I would recommend to play that game first.

I play expert when it's not a stupidly difficult song... Mostly I play hard difficulty because I can get a decent score on any song on hard. Sometimes it depends on what game I play also because the hammer ons don't exactly piss me off they just make it so that I can't hit them all and not break my streak.

On vocals I always pick easy but with everything else I pick hard/expert.

Medium, I play it once in a blue moon with friends. More of a casual experience then anything.

When I want to listen to the song, I play hard.

When I want to have fun, I play expert.

The key is to get in touch with the keys. I know it sounds dumb, but it is helpful to know which key your finger is on.

Medium, moving my hand for the orange note just puts me right off, no matter how easy the song, I never really played any of them enough to get amazing at it.

I can play most songs on hard and a few on expert. With Guitar Hero, practice makes perfect.
