Poll: What do you do with all your badges?

So this week I got my 70th badge, and as you all know (I hope you do), we only have a four slot badge display. How am I supposed to decide out of so many badges which ones I want to show? Do I pick the prettiest ones? Or do I go for the high status hard to get badges?

So the question is first: How many badges do you have? (is it normal to have too many)
and second: How do you arrange them? (for your stockpile of badges)
Finally: Which do you choose to display? (and why, if you feel like pontificating)

Well I recently started and haven't posted that much... so I have very little. As for your second question - and possibly third - I don't arrange them in any particular order other than significance.

And this is probably my most boring post ever. Now if only there was a badge for that...

I have 23 badges.
If by arrange, you mean how to select which ones appear under the avatar, go the badges part of your profile and just drag the ones you want into the top four slots.
I choose to display Ubermensch, Pillar of the Community, Epic Poster and Pixel Burgular as these were the most notable ones I have.

How I arrange them... Well, I like the Morpheus and Books one, because they symbolize how great I am, and then the last two have pretty colors in the background.

I don't bother counting, but I wish I could delete some of the ones I don't care about so I don't have to take 5 minutes just to rearrange ONE.

Some badges are ridiculously easy to get (like Rebecca Mayes Muses - you get one for seeing one film) - reasonable enough, but you get ANOTHER one...

This is utterly pointless (other than encouraging someone to click on a link to her songs). One can argue they are for collecting -sure, but if there is to be one per video, the badge loses all appeal as they are easy to get.

It begs the question of if something is so bad people will only see it because of the badges, if that thing has a purpose.

Ok, you've got a few questions, so I'll try to answer them the best I can.

1) I have 31 badges, most of which I don't care about at all.

2) I arrange the first four in the order which I like, which for me means my first three badges all have white backgrounds and then the last one is a different colour. It gives a sense of consistency. After the first four I don't arrange them in any order at all.

3) I choose to display the badges I'm most proud of or that I like. I like Morpheus because it shows I'm a nice person around the forums, and wish to one day supercede him with Neo. I like Lover Not a Fighter because I've made a lot of friends on here, I like prolific because it looks great in that third slot and shows I like to comment on things, and Thanks! speaks for itself.

I have 77 badges. This officially makes me the laziest hunter ever, seeing as all the other hunters in the group have over 100 badges.

As for how I arrange them, I put the Genre Wars ones at the bottom, then the Content badges, then the special events/ quizzes/ awards/ competition badges and then I simply arrange all the other badges as how valuable I think they are. I also arrange them in the cateogory according to how much I like them or how valuable I find them.

As for my top four, I choose those as I view those as the best badges I have. Especially Anniversary Letters (due to how rare it is) and Thanks! due to how hard it is to earn. And if I get Neo I'll also incorporate that one into my top four as well.

I'm too lazy to count how many I have, but I usually pick the first four that look the most appetizing (are colored blue and/or have bright colors). You know, like those candy canes I have there.... *drools*

As for arrangement, on the Badges page I do very little.
One time I somehow got all the matrix badges lined up vertically, so I try to keep that going, but other than that I leave the badges alone.

And I keep the ones I am most proud of to show.
Neo, because he's awesome, prolific because I've been busy, On Fire because I like the flame and it took a while to get, and Regular because it shows..."commitment."

And i spelled out a message (kind of) in the titles of my top four.

I don't sort them, I've got fourteen, and I choose to display the ones most unusual and/or the ones hardest to get.

I'd like an 'On Fire' badge or a 1000 replies badge. Until then I'll make do with community and hoiday badges in my top 4.

I don't do a whole lot with them, I just arrange them to be what I think will make people not look at my post count and think "Noob" since I've been here a while and lurked for ages before that but just don't post much.
The ones I don't put up for display, I order in an "I don't care" order, which means the ones I care least about go near the bottom, whereas the ones I care a bit about, go further up.
