[HEADING=1]What? No option for pr0n?[/HEADING]

On a more serious note, it's a toss up between horror and comedy.

Good examples:

Horror: Friday the 13'th, Hostel, Saw

Comedy: Wild Hogs, (can't think of any others at the moment)

Horror movies can be good, but they don't give the fright-factor they used to

Comedy can be god also, but they all seem to follow a different type of humor than before, plus my bar of comedy genius is set to Abbott and Costello.

Documentarys... I don't care for them

Dramas... See Documentarys

Historical... See Drama

Romance... see Historical

Action movies can be pretty sweet, as long as they have a good plot and a British lead character

Comedy is probably my favorite thanks to Bud and Lou.
Guess this became more of a "My opinion of -insert genre here-"

I don't have a preference of genres. I just like movies individually.

SCIENCE FICTION.

That is seriously a great and very diverse genre because it also ropes in fantasy. Science fiction can range from Star Wars to Spirited Away and pretty much all points in between, there's so much good to be said about Sci Fi really. It is one of the earliest genre's and to this day one of the best and while it has its fair share of low budget trash it still is a strong genre with a lot going for it. The imagination of the human mind can create whole worlds and make them feel real... Science Fiction is my favourite genre ever.

Second to that is horror and then Arthouse.

Generally, movies that make me think. The Matrix, I Heart Huckabees, Waking Life... all examine philosophy.

Bitchin' soundtracks and good comedic writing are good, too. Hence, I'm a huge Blues Brothers fan.

Comedy/horror (face it, they are the same category), or Action. It just depends on how it is done.

I personally find horror to be comedy.
This.

Horror movies are so funny. Especially slasher films; there's something hilarious about watching insane immortal/undead/dead/invincible serial killers beat naked teenagers to death.

I put drama, 'cause you can put other genres into it - Dramady, Dramaction (I made that one up) etc. And the best movies need drama.

I care very little for Horror, it bores me. Unless it's truly fantastic (see Rec, 28 Days Later, Let the Right one In)

Documentaries are cool as long as they're David Attenborough.

Action, if it's mindless is crappy. With drama - win.

Romantic can be good if it has drama.
