Poll: What is your favorite meat?

Well Escapist, a lot of us are meat eaters. We like it fried, baked, grilled, steamed... We just like our meat!

So, what is the best meat out there?

Spoiler: Fish of all sorts

And this is just a small number of the meat available to us. I picked the 'main' meat groups for the poll but there are many that do not fit. I myself am torn between Venison and Salmon as my favorite meat. Venison in a slow cooked stew is so goddamn tasty but I've never said no to Salmon.

I am a roast duck man. First time I ever had it was like an orgy in my mouth, Uncle Iro was right. That stuff is delicious as all hell. Sadly I don't get to have it that often as very few restaurants i've been to have it on the menu and I can not for the life of me find any duck in a store.

In a very close second place is bacon, god's gift to all mankind.

Well, I do love me some steaks, any cut really, it's simple, elegant and tastes great, and most importantly I seem to always get the huge one, but I'm not much of a food connoisseur, wish I was though that damn year I spent having that horrible allergy has ruined my taste buds and my sense of smell forever, I miss being able to smell the delicious foods that were being cooked in my house from 4 blocks away, it was glorious, and then when I ate it, the huge explosion of flavours inside my mouth it was splendid, now everything tastes like it needs more salt.

I think it got to be either beef or pork. I love eating Chinese pork but I also love eating roast steak. I guess it depend on my mood.

Damn I love meat...Bacon gets top-billing by virtue of being Bacon. I also love me some beef (I think Bison would fit under the beefy heading) with pork in general being third. I'm not too big on the bird-meats so fish gets number 4. I want some meat now...sadly I don't think we have any here at the moment...

Bacon is really just pork. This bacon/pork separation is unfair to pork, and I included bacon with pork when I gave pork its richly deserved #1 standing.

Most of you probably think a pizza is a vegetable...

I know this, I included it as a separate option on purpose. If you want to you can add the two up for Pork's final count. I think of it as almost a separate meat group because, well, it is just bacon man!

And it is the Americans who think Pizza is a vegetable.

FISH! Fish fish fish fish fish. So much fish!

I love tuna in particular. Tuna steaks, tuna burgers, spicy tuna rolls. Yum. And I live on the coast, so fresh fish is easy to come by.
