Poll: What is Your Favourite Pokemon Game?

So! What's yer favourite? I've given the third games their own option where I think they're significantly different from their predecesors.

I'll vote for Emerald, but I'm not sure why, it just held this brilliant charm for me, I LOVED the battle frontier, It's much better than the Gen V ones, especially the Battle Dome tournament, AWESOME! also, it was where I truly discovered breeding, I still remember my first pokemon with an egg move, "Hatch" the psyduck that knew psybeam (keckleon dad)

Also, the Pokemon and plot were good.

Being as they're the only ones I've played I'll say Red and Blue with Platinum being a close second.

HG/SS are remakes of my previous favourite generation, but they've also got a really nice HUD that makes navigating menus a ton easier. I don't get why they didn't do this in DPP, the new HUD/Menu system is amazing.

Mainly because it was Pokemon IN 3D!!! That was epic back then.

Thanks to nostalgia glasses i'd say red/blue although in all honesty diamond/pearl were absolutely fantastic (probably better). Welcome back to good form!

Emerald will always have a place in my heart. Although I played Gold, Crystal, Blue, Red and Yellow beforehand, I played Emerald for the longest out of all of them.

HeartGold/SoulSilver. Before they came out, it was Silver/Gold. It's basically the same game, but with the awesome gameplay changes that 4th gen brought along.

I'm an old school gamer (relative that is), as such I prefer Yellow/Blue/Red as that was back when I was a kid. Silver and Gold were ok, but after that I felt they lost much of their charm. It didn't help that they kept adding more Pokemon and as such they felt gimmicky after awhile. I think I will stick to the old ones.

Gold was my favourite. Such an improvement on Red/Blue (which were good games in their own right). There was just so much more to do. I liked Leaf Green, but it still didn't live up to Gold in my opinion.
I really want to try out HeartGold/SoulSilver now...
