Outrageous british shenanigans and brilliant recharacterization of the phrase 'Right, so, what's the plan, then?" Shaun of the Dead.
A comparison between possibility of survival by outrunning the undead? The Classic Dawn of the Dead.
A movie where the zombies win? The 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Simple as that.

But Shaun of the Dead definitely should belong in the poll as a serious Zombie Movie. It's not horror, but it is still zombie.
