I doubt OnLive will work, a successor might, but at the moment not enough people have fast enough connections to download and/or stream games.
Not to mention they'll have a ***** of a time peruading publishers away from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve.

Next console? Microtransactions to gain functionality, don't say I didn't warn you.

A projector would be pretty bad ass, and maybe even eliminate the lag problems with modern HD tvs. If I had to choose another one, it would be the motion sensing controlor that actually works, but not every blasted game would have to use it (sometimes I just want to push buttons, not waggle my wrist).

Unlike most people im rooting for OnLive to work, its hard to imagine where consoles can really go other then the path of ooooo 0.1% better graphics then last gen.
