But to answer your question, I'm a hateful gamer who sits in the dark hating other gamers and games, so naturally I'd be an engineer, because then I can point blank refuse to fix peoples precious tanks.

I'm suprised that such a (seemingly) original and quality poll isn't higher on the list. I'm definitely an assaulter, based on "Territory defence" gametypes I've played. There's nothing quite like the rush you get when you kill three enemies in quick sucession and think "Wow... did I just survive that?!?".

Nothing like a Sniper Assault. Find out how many people are in the room and where, kill any well-armed defenders from a distance, and then go crazy running into the building. Especially when you burst through the door and just start firing at the positions you know the enemy are in from the recon, and take them out before they even see you.

Call me thick headed if you must but I think its a lot more sporting to run full pelt at the bad guys (that and it's pretty funny when things do fall apart, particularly when you're with friends), so yeah...assault for me please.

I'm non of the above as I like using a silencer and UAV jammer, then picking opponents off 1 by 1.
Although recently I have found the pleasure of shotguns, and well their awesome-ness. I hit kills and just run about shooting the **** out of people.

Tanker for me. Somebody's got to be the leading edge of the spearhead, so I'm the one that hops in and blasts the enemy to dust.

When the enemy needs to be blown to high holy hell, I sneak behind them and use remote explosives on an encapment. It's like being in a tank, but you get to see the explosion better.

I'm one of those snipers who runs around all the time.

I love being called a camper shortly after blasting someone, then sprinting to the other end of the map and blasting someone else, who also calls me a camper, then... you get the picture.

It gives me endless amusement to have people shouting 'kick that camper' as I, the server admin, run around like a maniac...
