Poll: What will you be doing this console generation?

Someone may have made a poll like this already, but I didn't find it and I want to know.
Who's buying or not buying what when the PS4 and Xbox One come out?
It would be glorious if all these issues people have had with the new consoles would result in a major lack of sales for both, but that doesn't seem too realistic.
I think I'll be sticking with this current generation until convinced to do otherwise, as well as do some PC gaming.

Stick with my PC and PS3 until there are are enough good games (that I can't play on PC) out on the new console to justify buying one of them.

Then I'll probably get a PS4, because I'm not interested in Nintendo games and Xbone... lol, no.

This has the advantages of avoiding the early teething problems and costing less money.

Well I think most of the (interesting) games on display at E3 were still on the 360 and PS3 as well as the new gen and PC. So i'm just going to stick with this gen, my PC and my PS2 for the foreseeable future.

Watch as Mirror's Edge 2 is an Xbox One exclusive. Just watch. I can feel it in my bones...

I'll get a PS4 at some point. I like how the one guy at Microsoft advised people to stick with a 360 if you have bad internet (I.E a lot of people including myself.)

Protip: If your product is generally not well received on reveal *and* again at E3 (understatement of the year) don't tell people to just not buy it. How many bullets can MS shoot into their own legs before this is over? They even released a new 360 for some bizarre reason.

Well I already have a gaming PC and a 3DS both of which I love.

I'm not interested in PS4 or Xbone at this stage, more than anything it just seems like they offer a pretty similar experience to the PC (especially XB). I am warming up to the WiiU though nothing is certain.

Sticking with PC. I sat this gen out, and nothing I've seen or heard has convinced me to change that.

I've just spent £700 upgrading my PC, but I will also be buying a PS4 when it comes out, just pre-ordered it.

The PC does have some of my favourite games on it, but I find it a lot easier to schlomp and relax with a console.

3DS. And there's still PS3 titles that I'm waiting for. Like Final Fantasy X HD. Definitely getting a Wii U when Monolith Soft's X releases. I'm content to wait until next-gen builds up a bit of a library. Maybe upgrade my PC.

Been on PC plus one console my whole life, and I think this generation it's going to be a PS4. I had a 360 last gen, and would probably have decided to get a One if it wasn't for the online check-ups and games being locked to a profile. They've really lost the plot with the sit-down and play nature of consoles that attracted me, I might as well get a game cheaper on Steam if I have to go through online registration for the console version anyway.

PC and PS4 here.

I've been slowly converting much of my PS3 library to PC over the last couple years, primarily via Steam sales and Humble Bundles/Sales. I've got much of it over to PC now. The games that remain are mostly Sony games which are fantastic and justify keeping my PS3.

Going forward, PC will remain my platform of choice where applicable due to quality and value. All the console games that have been replaced on PC will be traded in (probably along with my long closet-bound 360 and the few games I still have for it) toward a PS4 to continue enjoying the fantastic games Sony brings out and any games exclusive to that platform. My current PS3 will sit nicely atop the flat PS4. Being a longtime Remote Play proponent, I will also be supplementing the PS4 with a Vita. That will be sweet. (Of course, this is all a long-term plan.)

I haven't completely written off a WiiU purchase at some point in time, but compared to what Sony has brought this week, the price of the WiiU seems outlandish and needs to come down considerably before it gets another look in the future.

An Xbox One purchase is completely out of the question, now and forever.

I'm going to stick with this gen since I have such an under-developed PS3 library but I do plan on grabbing a PS4 at some point. I won't wait for FFXV so depending on the reviews I'll either grab one with Thief or, wait for Kingdom Hearts 3. I grabbed a Wii U at launch too so while I wait for the PS4 pool to fill up I'll have Mario, Wario, Link and, Donkey Kong to play with...or maybe I'll just dump all of my time into Mario Paint Unlimited Art Academy and revive my deviant art accounts.

XBone can suck my bone and I hope to have a gaming PC eventually too...it could very well be a wedding present.

Well, I already have a Wii U and won't ever "quit" PC gaming. I go through phases where all I do is PC and then sometimes my PC isn't even on for a month or so. I'll probably, eventually, get a PS4. Think I'll wait for a slim model, and wait to make sure this generation of consoles actually work when they are released.

Already have a WiiU, probably gonna get a PS4, currently waiting for my new 780 graphics card to arrive in the mail.

I'll also probably laugh at the people who actually bought the XBone.

Well here's my plan, right now I've got a PC, PS3 and Vita.
I'm still actively using all of them (Mostly my Vita right now) and I've got quite a backlog to get through with a lot of them being JRPGs so this may take awhile. My carrot on the stick for next gen is Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV so I've got to until at least 2014 before I have to get one, during that time I'll be clearing my backlog and purchasing/playing games for my new 3DS I'm getting thanks to Pokemon and hoping not to run out of cash...

Honestly? I don't know.

I just started the process of upgrading my PC to play more recent games on it, but I didn't do it with the plan of migrating to PC only gaming. The Bone has made me think I'm skipping Microsoft this gen, but I'm not sure if I'm buying another console. One of the main reasons I have a PS3 is that it's a game system that also plays BD. It's my entertainment hub, but I already have an entertainment hub. And I'm not sure I want to buy a Wii U.

Maybe I'll go PC only, though that probably means I'm sinking more money in a year or two down the line. If I get a console, it'll probably be a PS4 in a year or two (definitely not this year). I still haven't decided.

I really don't know.

As a university student I've been doing a lot of moving around these past 3-4 years, haven't really had a permanent abode to bother with a proper gaming set-up; any house I've been in I've only stayed for a maximum of 9-11 months, and I don't really know how long it'll be before I actually find a place to once again call 'home'? so during that time, it doesn't really make sense for me to invest in a high-tech, non-mobile system of gaming. I'm actually more interested in the 3DS/PS Vita right now. :p

pc gaming. next year i'm going to splash out on a new pc, actually got the motivation to properly research and build it all myself. even without the next gen aspects, i'm excited for a little DIY project tbh xD

if theres a big price drop, i may consider picking up a vita too, i love handheld gaming generally and my partner already has a 3DS, so would be nice to have both
