Poll: What would you like to see in the next total war game or what you think is next.

I've played rome, medieval 2, and now empire (enjoying it again after the patches fixed the crashing), and have wondered what would come next. I think ww2 era would be the next logical step, but its been done so much in other games. So wouldn't ww1 era be a nice change of pace? That is what I would personally like to see. Maybe even cold war era. Also a shogun 2 wouldn't be bad in my opinion. Something that includes asia at least.

So what do you think? What would you like to see next and/or what do you think would be next? My apologies if this topic has been done before, I didn't see it in the forum search. If so then just don't post and let it die.

I would have to vote for Shogun, I loved that game. Much more so then I liked Rome or even Medieval.

There was just something about battlefield ninjas that made them so awesome.

Shogun 2. If we need a sequel, it has to be for Shogun.

I just remembered the napoleonic war would also be a good time, what with the war of 1812 during that time too. Probably not since its too close in time to Empire, but getting to play the United States in grand campaign would be nice.

I'd like them to do something really interesting. Like India around 500BC or Laos at some time when cool stuff was happening. Maybe the Boer War. I don't know. Just something I haven't done before.

I would like Shogun 2. I never played the first one and I haven't played many other games set in feudal Japan. Which is a shame because I really like the period.

Rome 2 would also be nice because I love that period too.

No Medieval 3 please! That's one period I am totally sick of.

the thing about WW1 is it was almost all faught in the trenches until the later of it. So their were a few battles not in the trenches but not enough to make a game.
