I just wanted to know, in the wake of a breakup, whats love? Is it a spark when you kiss them or just a fabrication of imagination???

Love is pain.
Lol. Imma play you a violin.

Love is the intersection of compatible personalities (friendship) and physical attraction (lust).

"WHAT IS LOVE? BABY DON'T HURT ME, DON'T HURT ME, NO MORE" :p
it's that feeling you get where you feel like you could spend all of life with them by your side, and who see's your faults, but looks past them, etc. someone who make you happy to still be alive.

Love is a vacation to a tropical isle with beautiful beaches and bright skies. Then on the way out of your villa you take a long bone-smashing fall down a flight of stairs and still somehow manage to get up and go on.

that's love.

What's love but a second-hand emotion?

OT: Outside of familial love, there's not really any other kind. For me, at least.

I also resent that suggestion that people who don't think outside love exists are all wrist-cutters.

Some of us have legs, too. :p

Love is a red ass, a sore hand, some repurposed Ethernet cable, and a pledge of loyalty in a soft voice from a broken-by-consent soul.

But enough about my fetishes.

Agreed, its the only reason my eyes opened and i clicked on this thread... Shame.

Well while im here... Love is a bond between two souls, it cannot be spoken of, it cannot be defined completely. Only two intertwined souls know the answer, and if you have to ask the question... "What is love?" then truly... you will never know the answer unless you stop looking for it.

What is love?...
Love is...

BABY DON'T HURT ME! DON'T HURT ME! NO MORE!
outta my system now xD

I can safely say that I've never experienced love so I don't know what it is. I am clinging to the hope that when I feel it I'll know. Then again it could just be hormones.

In the wake of a breakup, love hurts. But for me currently it's amazing with my love of a year. :D

Though I'm going to believe that the OP just went through a breakup and hope her well in the recovery. S/he probably wasn't worth it anyway!

It's just one of those things. It's different than kids saying they love each other, when they just love the sex though. I can't describe it. It just feels way different, and you'll know for sure, since nothing else is like it.

Baby don't hurt me.
Don't hurt me.
No more.
The idea of love is similar to the idea of finding yourself; it's so vaguely described that if you think you have it you have it.
