MovieBob, I was hoping you were going to do a review on the 'Twilight' spoof, 'Vampires Suck'. Nothing's more fun than watching a spoof movie make fun of a crappy movie, and then take apart the spoof movie for being a bad example OF a spoof movie.

One is an endless stream of pop-culture references, while the other was a romance in which nothing romantic or interesting ever happened. They both suck, sad thing is they're both making money.

I thought the "genre parody" was dead by now. Meet the Spartan's irrevocably killed it for me. Now we just need someone to do "Parody Movie", a parody spoof of the sub-genre of parody spoofs so these things can stay dead permanently.

Vampires suck sucks worst.

I actually haven't seen it, but anything from the writers/directors of jewels like "Meet the Spartans", "Epic Movie" and "Disaster Movie" is automatically worst than anything they parody... no matter how poorly you think of Twilight.

I'm pretty sure I'd hate them both in different, yet equally vitriolic ways.
I dunno, maybe twilight a bit more though, because the Bella character is absolutely horrible.

They both look crappy, but I probably hate Twilight more due to the fanbase and everyone reminding me that it exists instead of letting me forget it ever happened...

Vampires Suck, OBVIOUSLY. That's the kind of parody that has been dropped on the head as a child. Sure, Twilight sucks, but at least it has some respect for itself. Vampires Suck is the kind of movie that makes me want to kill kittens, and I own two, so I know how cute those things are.

I haven't seen either, but I really don't need to see twilight to know that I hate it. That's what the fangirls are for. They both suck but in the end, only one made an impact on our culture. Therefore, it is the inferior movie.

Twilight JUST BARELY wins in my book. It has one thing going for it, the drama going on with the vampires which is mildly compelling considering how shitty the movie is. It's more interesting to watch the side plot rather than the mary-sue love story.
