Hi everyone,
Given that currently Im writing characters for my game who will all be somehow linked to at least one deadly sin I was just curious - which sin would be most likely to be your downfall?

For me it's probably greed... Greed for power, possesions, everything. The need to be better than everyone else.

Honestly it's between guluttony and sloth.

While I'm not obsess but I tend to have large portion of food and I am lazy by nature.

Sloth, gluttony. Or latter could be more accurately described as snacking, I don't eat that much but I love anything sweet.

Gluttony FTW!

It is the best sin; you can indulge it to your hearts content and only hurt yourself. I mean, it isn't like I'm there at the supermarket thinking; "I will eat all of the sausages."

*Berty has acquired ALL the sausages!*

"Now there are no sausages, other shoppers may die. MWUAHAHAHA!"

All of the above.

I can't settle on one.
I don't think any of them apply to me at the moment, does that count as pride?

I'm not sure, does indecisiveness count as a deadly sin?

Pride. Getting a B in one class has managed to completely screw me up for nearly a week now. Causing me to make mistakes in other classes, because I'm too wrapped up in getting the stupid B.

Just sloth. I'm not really affected by the others at all, but this is largely because I'm too lazy.
"They have better stuff than me? Meh, mine's alright"
" Roast Dinner? Sounds like hard work, I'll bung on some oven chips"
" Person being an asshole, eh they'll get bored and piss off"

There are advantages to being laid back, but I have run close to royally screwing up my life due to laziness and procrastination. Yay for fear as a motivating factor, because sod all else seems to work.

Wrath, especially when it comes to my brother. Any time he does something to anger me I start punching walls.

Sloth and lust are the big ones for me. Gluttony isnt really my deal. I dont really have a sweet tooth and im not a big eater

I dont really see a problem with either of these so long as they aren't in excess. Can you imagine a world without greed, jealousy or lust? We'd all still be living in caves

Im guessing you are setting up 7 boss battles based on these characters? This could be a very interesting premise. The jealously boss could absorb damage then turn green and deal out ×2 damage

Probably envy, I tend to forget what I have but notice what others have, and mistakenly think that their happiness is brought by what they have that I don't.

A close second may be gluttony, I don't really eat as much as I should but the amount of soda I can drink in a day is disgusting if I think about it, bleh.

Probably gluttony. For the same reasons as Qurty2.0, the amount of coke I can consume is just unreal and I really want a bottle of it now but I have no money :( I could probably rustle up a quid to go to the shop with to get some... but eh, that's where the Sloth kicks in.

Yup, it's a post apocalyptic world where the gate to hell hasn't been closed for years and there are demons everywhere, it also means that once a person lets one of these feelings overtake them they gain demonic powers but become a minor demon as well. The premise is tracking down the demons Sherlock Holmes style and then fighting them in a typical RPG battle, but the twist being an absolute lack of levels, meaning that every battle is somewhat of a puzzle.
The 7 Bosses are the archdemons linked to each sin, for example Lucifer - envy, Beelzebub - gluttony etc.

Thats a pretty cool idea. I dont mean to tell you what to do (Its your idea after all) but personally I would've made it about a man/woman in purgatory who cant 'move on' until he/she has made up for their sins. This could be done through 7 metaphorical battle against each boss representing each sin. Each boss has attributes and appearance based on the sins. Lust will be a really hot women, gluttony will be a huge fat guy etc etc.

I guess this is kinda where you are going with this anyway? I like the idea though. Its a pretty original idea and I has kinda reminds me of dantes inferno and the 7 circles of hell

Hopefully one day we'll see this on steam or something

I'd say sloth but everyone acts lazy to some extent and I get way more done than many other people do.

Maybe envy too but not so much these days.

Wrath but only when I'm stressed.

Pride and lust are the main ones (I voted pride).

Yo Sloth. Sup?

Nothing much. You?

Eh, the usual, just heading out to work.

Y'know...

Oh fuck off.

I'm just saying. You don't have to. You could call in sick.

Shut up. I feel fine.

You still have two sick days left this year. Why not use one today?

What if I actually get sick tomorrow, or the day after?

Phht. You're healthy as a horse, you know as well as I do that those days will go unused.

True enough. Kind of a dick move toward my boss though.

Employees getting sick on occasion is part of his job. What he doesn't know won't piss him off.

Good point...

Sloth, everytime.

I love sleeping. Sometimes I can be in bed for like 12 hours.

I find that I have way better dreams the longer I sleep for, so sometimes I do it purely for that.

It's also my happy place, since it's so warm and cozy.

Toss up between Lust and Sloth. Furiously masturbating to niche porn a few hours a day is about the only exercise I get.

Pride is definitely lowest on my list though, I'm like the least prideful person in the world. I take great pride in that.
