Poll: When do you think Final Fantasy will stop?

I bet that they will stop the main series at around XVII. At what number do you think they will stop. It'd be weird if they made the 30'th game, imagine the controversy. Final Fantasy XXX.

I've heard that Square will make as many Final Fantasies as they wish as long as they keep selling well. I really hope it stops. You know somethings gone wrong when you announce a sequel to a game that hasn't been released yet.

With all their side games (like Tactics and crystal chronicles... if you count those) It will prolly get to somewhere around... idk the billions? IF you dont count the ones that dont have numbers on the end there are already over 30 of them

The best part of this series is "almost" all of the games are stand alone, so it's not a standard series like you see with Halo. As long as it is a completely new story every time I don't see any reason for it to stop.

Final Fantasy isn't a series in the conventional sense; there's little or no continuity between installments (instances like FFX2 aside). Therefore the series can go on indefinitely, and probably will.
