Poll: Which anime should I show...?

G'day escapists!

Feel free to skip to the chase.

At lunch today a mate of mine (who had only seen one and thought it was rubbish) was bagging Anime. When i told him that it would be like watching 'clash of the titans' and saying that all movies were bad. He then challenged me to show him a decent Anime. Now i need to make a big impact on him by showing him one anime that i own. I am currantly leaning to Laputa or Princess Mononoke.



The Chase:
A mate wants to watch an good Anime movie and judge them from that. So, which one? The ones that I currently own are:

Princess Mononoke
Porco Rosso
Laputa: Castle in the sky
Howl's moving Castle
