I'm half kidding with this, but still I'm interested to see the results. Now let me explain myself more properly...

The Spoiler : You love spilling secrets and revealing plots. The looks on their faces when they discover which page Jesus dies on, muhaha...

"Thumbs up" guy : This mainly comes from Youtube but basically it means you want your comment to be noticed by all and will do whatever needed to make that happen. This can mean either being rated up, or even just replied to.

The know-it-all : Now you've all seen this person. This is someone who tries so hard to make themselves seem edumacated that it's almost as if they swallowed an entire thesaurus. Big words and unusually long paragraphs are a must. It's usually in a reply to someone, making them seem dumber by comparison. You will also correct people if they make a spelling error or similar. Why is nobody as smart as you??

Troll : Little description needed here. You want to annoy people and will say whatever you think will make that happen.

Ninja Troll : Pretty much the same thing except you arn't as obvious. You are far more subtle in your antagonising and most people won't realise your true purpose.

Jester : A little more laid back with things. All you care is that your comment is seen as witty or otherwise humorous. whether a funny picture or amusing quote. You want people to laugh at what you've left behind.

Standard : Speaks for itself. Making a comment is just business, you dont have any purpose or agenda you just want to leave your opinion. Or so you think...

I'm sure I've left out a lot of possible personas but hey, I did what i could with the amount of options I had. So don't hesitate to mention any.

EDIT: This was meant to be a poll, but Escapist must have had some troubles

Ehh, Standard Jester. Level 43. I love being the funny guy. That's what I do.

EDIT: It looks like the Escapist ate your poll, bro.

Gonna go with Jester on this one. I want people to laugh but I don't care whether I get voted up or not.

Oh and it looks like its time to send paulgruberman a PM about your broken poll.

Either the standard or the know-it-all. Mostly, I just say what I think but I do enjoy confounding people who are obviously less intelligent (but only when they look like a dick). You aren't telling me you don't?

I'd call myself a Standard....but a lazy Standard.

My lurk to post count ratio is woefully unbalanced.

I can also come off as a sarcastic fucker sometimes so chuck in a bit of Ninja-Troll for good measure too.

Standard over here, I suppose. Though I guess Spoiler would be my sub-class, since I did things like "spoil the ending of Harry Potter" for people three years after the book came out but before the eighth movie was in theaters. I just spoil things for people who don't understand the "if the material has been out for a year it's not a spoiler" rule.

Standard, occasionally Know-it-all to a sickening degree. Most of the time I don't feel like I can be arsed, tho.

I'd say Standard Know-it-All. I am a virtual font of trivia, mundane or otherwise. Besides, I like answering question's some ask in comments that I know the answer to.

Captcha: ASSTDis otherwife

Why do I keep getting these. Spot Checks my ass! I've posted two times today, including this post and Captcha pops up.

I am very tempted to "ninja troll" just because it has the coolest sounding name, but in reality I am much closer to a jester.

"Which page Jesus dies on. Ha ha."

How does one spoil The Bible? I'm pretty sure just about everyone knows. We've all heard the good news (thanks, Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses! Thanks, Paul and Constantine and Martin Luther!).

Yeah, standard I guess. Why is there no Lurker option? I spend most of my time Lurking, and then 1 day I'll send out a few posts to disrupt the trend.

All of the above depending on what i'm trying to do, or the subject of the OP. Some threads are troll threads or flamebait anyway. Incidentally i wish people wouldn't bandy troll about as much as they do. It has become a blanket term for people who don't agree with them, therefore, must be troll. Fuckwits need setting on fire, and i don't mean the accused trolls.

I think I'm a cross between Standard and Know-It-All. I don't usually point out other people's spelling/grammatical errors unless it's unreadable or an obvious troll post. I am fond of utilizing complex polysyllabic words though (see?), and I get carried away sometimes and type an essay-length post when I originally intended to only do a single paragraph. I also tend to double and triple check my post entries before I hit the "Reply" button to make sure there aren't any mistakes.

Somewhere between standard and troll I think.

Also, ninja troll option is pointless, so if you get the poll working you should probably replace that or something. Barely anyone who admits to trolling is going to say they're a standard troll with that there because I imagine that's how a lot of people picture themselves while doing it.
