I'm probably not the first to put up a thread of this fashion, but I am curious to see what people have to say about this.

Most people I know think the award is going to go to the King Speach even though I think the Social Network has a pretty even chance. As for the movie that I think deserves the title, i'll give that to Toy Story 3. It was a great film that was both emotionally moving but also incredibly fun, and was the one of the two films that I actually paid to see again with absolutly not regret (the other being Scott Pilgrim).

I'm also not allowed to put more then 8 selections for the poll so if your votung for 127 Hours, True Grit, or Winters Bones then just select other.

I'd vote for Inception but you know, my opinion doesn't matter when it comes to the Oscars...

Whatever, still my favorite film of 2010.

Having seen it for the second time today, my Best Picture award goes to <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.254228-Marter-to-the-Movies-Black-Swan>Black Swan.

Man, that was a really good film.

I'd say Toy Story 3.

Because damn that movie was just sublime.

Can't think of a better ending for such an amazing series.

Having seen most of the 10 nominees, I say they all deserve their nominations. I don't want Toy Story to win though. I loved the movie, but there's a category for animated films, and I don't think this one was the best. If it wins, it will just be to honor the series as a whole, which gets tiresome. (The animated category didn't exist when #1 and #2 came out).

All of them (at least the ones I saw) had brilliant acting, great casts, great writing, and I struggled to find a flaw with any of them.

My favorite was definitely Black Swan. I will be very annoyed if Social Network (or the King's Speech which will probably get it) wins.

How to Train Your Dragon.

It was my favorite movie of the year, either that or Scott Pilgrim. But neither of them got nominated.

Toy Story 3 for me.
[sub]I disappoint at lack of Daft Punk for Music Awards.[/sub]

127 hours. The feel and atmosphere of it puts it on top for me. For the people who call it boring ive seen it 8 times and it still keeps me hooked strait through. Danny Boyle deserves best director. Also HM for Social network and the fighter. Both great movies

I'd like it to be Toy Story 3.

But since we live in the REAL world, I'm gonna see either the King's Speech or Black Swan.

With Social Network being the dark horse of voting.

Toy Story 3 was my favorite out of those, but God knows it won't win. Animation scares the academy. In contrast, movies like The King's Speech give the Academy raging boners.

I'll say Social Network deserves it, although my favorite is, again, Toy Story 3. King's Speech will probably win though,

I thought for a while over whether I liked The Social Network or Inception more. Then I remembered Toy Story 3.

Toy Story 3, but as we all know, an Animated film will never win the award in my lifetime. It will only get nominated.

I'm not a fan of any of the other movies, but since I saw Inception, I'll just throw my realistic vote towards that.

I definately think that Inception should win it just for the sheer awesomeness of the concept and how it was made. If not that then Toy Story 3.
