Let me start by saying that I've got a follow-up Question Thread based on the results of this poll, also I suppose this could be seen as a potential SPOILER ZONE!!!!!!!!

Ok, so after coming out of just watching the Deer Hunter, it made me think on which film made me leak Tears, Cry, or even Sob...

So, Which film made you Leak the Most Tears???

Mine has to be Forrest Gump (not sure why, it must be Tom Hanks, that man has a face that can control your Emotions like a Puppy)

Oh by the way, the Poll answers are only on Films I have seen.

AND don't tell me which part made you weep the most, that question is for the Follow-Up Thread.

And feel free to Shout-out your most Tear-jerking Films.

Have Fun.

[Some Nominational Thanks go out to Bunny and the Bull, The Lion King, Donnie Darko, Cool Hand Luke, No Country For Old Men, Midnight Cowboy, and maybe Blade Runner...I'm sorry if I've forgotten anyone]

[and I hear Million Dollar Baby has a sad bit, but that's next on my list to watch]

I've only seen the Green Mile of that list, and it didn't stir me.

The Shawshank Redemption on the other hand...

Also no Up? That movie opened with such a massive downer.

Out of that list, Green Mile is definitely the most upsetting but I didn't cry
The only film I've cried at was Air Bud and one I came close to tears with was Brokeback Mountain

Hey, if it's not on the list, then I probably haven't seen it...

I'm saving myself for Shawshank Redemption.

[I hear Virgin Suicides is another, but that's sort've expected in the Title]

Toy Story 3 made me bawl towards the end.

Or I would've if I wasn't with my girlfriend in the theater.

I'm afraid none of that list have made me cry.

Grave of the Fireflies is the only film I've cried during recently.

I was kinda tied between Gladiator and Green mile, went with The Green Mile in the end.
Both of them are great movies that made me shed a tear.

That's the worst, I had the same thing with my cousin, but it always turns out that both of you think the same thoughts, thus preventing said Bawling...

Grave of the Fireflies. Tears absolutely everywhere.
I can get emotional with movies anyways, so this movie was really hard to watch through all the tears.

On the list, none of them were extremely emotional, but I would have to go with The Green Mile. Something more along the lines of what's on the list would be Braveheart. Brings a tear to my eye every time.

Phsff I'm way too much of a tough guy to ever let something silly like a movie make me show emotions. Damn emo pansies back in my day... oh yeah...

That one got to me in a major way. Had to watch it for a class on Japan During WWII and I remember not being able to discuss the movie the next day, I was still too emotional about it.

Toy Story 3 that damned Trash Compactor scene gets me every single time. I saw it with my girlfriend in theaters, we're at the scene and she turns over sees me and says "really?! It's a disney movie you know there going to make it" Well it don't change the fact that it tugs on the heart strings.

No Rudy? FUCK THIS THREAD.

In all seriousness, if you dont cry at the end of Rudy you have no soul.

There are a lot of movies in that poll that I don't understand why you would cry at them....Gladiator? No Country? Requiem? I don't see why you are crying here. And American Beauty? Moving, but not tear inducing at all.

I guess I'm saying, OP if Forrest Gump made you cry Rudy will open the floodgates.

Seven Pounds made me cry rivers. Every time I managed to stop something made me start again. The movie pulls every damn string it can to make the viewer cry. Hotel Rwanda also made me fell my fair share of manly tears.

...Or are we supposed to choose one from your lacking poll? In that case none. Haven't even seen half of them.

People seriously cried at Forrest Gump?! Must. Resist. Flaming. None of those films have made me shed a tear. To be honsest, the only film I can think of to have made me cry is Brokeback Mountain and that may have capitilised on my emotional state at the time. There are countless films that have moved me emotionally but I'm very rarely driven to tears by any piece of media, I guess it just comes down to what affects you personally.

Lets see... I remember the first movie that actually made me cry was... god what was it called... OH! My Dog Skip. (Remember it? Yeah me neither.) I just remember crying like a little kid when I saw the ending... of course I was, what? 8?

More recent though... Toy Story 3. Oh my god... I remember stifling my tears in the movie theater as I watched... then my mom handed me a tissue as she wiped her eyes too.

...God that was a good movie.
