Personally I like War Thunder better then World of Tanks. For some reason WoT feels too fast for me compared to War Thunder. That and upgrading/researching new tanks seems more streamlined in War Thunder. So what's you opinion?

Basically the opposite of yours. I mean, matches are faster and over quicker in WoT, sure, but the actual "shooting at other tanks" bit takes more time.

There's something to be said for being able to wade into combat and have fun because you know you can take a few hits as opposed to playing "rocket tag with duds" that you get in Warthunder.

Plus, I like the visual system when it works meta-right and the idea that my crew and their skills are another component of the tank I need to keep track of. The idea of always being able to see everybody never struck through for me because the actual optical systems and field of views were different on different tanks.

Not saying it's bad, plenty of people like a more simulated shooter, but it's not for me. That said, Wargaming (creators of WoT) has been up to shenanigans with a Jimquisition episode in the offing, so fuck them at least temporarily.

Infinite Tanks because it honestly takes the best of both WoT and WT.

Tanks are rendered at all times, but they don't pop on the radar until they either get really close or an ally aims at them. Mortars can be taken as a secondary weapon on any tank, but their ranges are very short and their power weak. And the best part is the fact that RNG is either not used at all to determine damage and penetration, or very heavily reduced.

Oh, and you've got the option to fit your tanks with air cushion hover systems, which actually make them amphibious. Strangely, they actually run slightly faster on water than on land, though handling becomes pretty drifty which can kill your momentum.
