Poll: Which Game/s Are You Shelling out For This Month?

June is turning out to be a real drain on my wallet after a series of coincidences cause me to buy four games this month; Red Faction: Armageddon, Duke Nukem Forever, Alice: Madness Returns and Mortal Kombat. Red Faction and Duke Nukem were pushed back to the same month (and the same week too), I ordered Mortal Kombat because I finally decided that need to buy a decent fighting game with some lasting appeal and to keep others happy when I have people over, and I only recently heard about Alice: Madness Returns and decided that it is the most interesting game I've seen coming for months.

My impressions are; excited for Red Faction: Armageddon as the demo gave me a fairly good impression and blasting shit in a new game will definitely keep me occupied for awhile, though after playing the Duke Nukem Forever demo I have a feeling I'll be disappointed with it (and may even need to return the game) but I owe both The Duke and Gearbox to prove to me that it won't be a waste of time. Mortal Komabt should provide with some lasting entertainment while Madness Returns looks to be the most interesting and captivating of them all.

So that's my five cents. What are you looking forward to?

If I buy anything this month, it will be inFamous 2, that seems to be the only game that actually will be able to deliver a $60 experience. Something else may be surprisingly good, though I doubt it will be anything on your list, unless the new Dungeon Siege is much better than the last one.

Some indie game may come up, but I don't really have my eyes open for those right now. June, as usual, is devoid of AAA titles.

Half considering Duke Nukem. I was going to get it out of curiosity, y'know, just to see what happens when a game spanning over 12 years and three developers. But the demo looked like crap and an awful lot of people who played it are saying it's crap. Besides, I don't see much to like about the kind of humour that might appeal to a 13 year old.

I'll get the new Red Faction once it hits the bargain bin. Which won't take long. I bet it's half price before the end of the year.

I have yet to play the original Infamous (though I did get it a few months ago). Despite growing up as a gamer in the 90s, I've never touched a Duke Nukem game. I don't like first person shooters anyway, so I won't ever be getting Duke Nukem Forever. Red Faction Guerrilla was sort of boring I thought. Just blowing up things won't entertain me more than five minutes. The Dungeon Siege III demo completely turned me away from the game. But Alice looks like demented fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Duke's already ordered. £40 which is about $60 for the balls of steel edition on PC seemed a good price and I was happy enough with the demo.

I'm most likely going to be getting inFamous 2 and Fear 3, just not this month. I already bought two games right away this year (one was a Collector's Edition too, so that's $140 altogether, which is quite a bit for a teenager with no job to be shelling out), so I'll wait until the price drops on those two.
