Poll: Which Gamer is angrier?

Simple Poll and thread. I keep hearing people complain that PC gamers are assholes, they're always bitching and complaining about everything, etc. What do you guys think? Are PC gamers the biggest whiny bitchy gamers out there? Maybe it's the Sony Crowd? I mean lawsuit against EA for BF 1943? Could that be interpreted as the PS3 Gamers being a bunch of whiners?

Give me your opinion on the matter. There is an included poll as well so you can vote, I do request one thing though and this is very important:

I will agree that as a PC gamer I feel as if we have this sense of entitlement. I remember people bitching about Valve releasing L4D2 before more free content was released for the first game. People felt as if Valve screwed them over because they promised free content and to some people what they did release wasn't enough. Valve is a great dev, and not many devs would release new content for free, the fact that they still do it despite being in the purchasable DLC age of gaming I think is really awesome of them.

Xbox or PC probably comes to mind. I've never heard of anyone raging over the Wii or handheld games like those on iOs. I have heard of xbox and pc players murdering each other over games though.

Wasn't the bitching because of the fact that L4D2 was released in a very short time span after L4D, basically screwing over people who bought the game some months late?

It has a point. You are being hypocritical because you are asking people to post their opinions on a subject that has to do with "anger" and will obviously insult anyone who checks the poll and sees his system of choice being ridiculed.

Also, it's pretty much on topic because he dealt with the matter at hand.

I'm a 360 gamer and I approve of this message.

Although I don't really think it's anything to do with the type of machine people use, it's the type of games they play. It's just the angry games seem to be most popular on Xbox (CoD, Halo etc.)

"Wow they took out snaking" (mario kart wii)
"FFS my controller broke again" (mario kart double dash)
"WTF spiny shell!" (every single mario kart game)

I voted old school, because they all complain about the games not being as good as in the good old days... pretty much complain about every single convention/streamlining and the extreme linearity of today's games.

But I am definately thinking PC gamer is worse, because they get all the bad console ports and stupid DRM.

This is quite possible that they did to appease people. But yeah they were complaining that L4D2 was released early, and their main argument was that not enough content had been released yet for L4D1. Which I found ludicrous and got me annoyed that the community I belong to paints itself as nothing more than children of entitlement.

As far as being hypocritical, I don't believe I am. We are capable of giving out opinions without resorting to angry cussing and flaming. If someone's opinion is going to mess up your day so bad that it throws you into seething rage, please seek help for your own safety and that of those around you.

What is it lately with topics that try to get gamers against each other.

Getting really sick and tired of all the console wars/flamewars / pc versus console / casual versus hardcore topics.

Why can't we just have fun and enjoy gaming as a whole thing and put petty differences (like who rather plays what system aside).

These kinds of topics are only breeding grounds for flamewars and should just be closed.

In every gaming society there are assholes and there are nice people... no one ever notices the nice people, but everyone wants to rave about the angry gamers and not the onse who play nice are respectfull and dont shout obsenities

I know only 2 people who game on the 360 (everyone else has PS3), and they are the 2 angriest of our bunch.
