Poll: Which gaming Magazine do you prefer?

i like to read OXM as its reviews are fairish. theyre not PS3 haters for one thing which is always a plus. i hate those "my console is better" magazines.

I was a big EGM guy for a long time. I have magazines from them that go waaaayy back. I was very sad when they quit going but I can always go to 1up to see what some of the old gang is doing.

This is kind of a console war poll isn't it? A magazine about the Xbox and one about the Playstation are not really comparable. And I like how you say Nintendo Power's good but don't include it in your poll.

Anyways, EGM used to be great but they collapsed or something and now I get the rubbish that is "Maxim Magazine". But I think I'm going to be subscribing to PC Gamer. It has interesting articles and is written in a humorous yet informational way.

PC Gamer UK - been looking at the pictures (and more recently the words) since I was 5 and my dad used to buy it.

If the shop didn't have it we got PC Zone, but it was never the same...

OXM, I rarely buy magazines, but when I do I buy then, and I read their articles on the internet. I would say the escapist, but i don't think they count.

My favorite of all-time was GMR. However, EGM is pretty much king.

Notice how I mentioned two magazines that are out of print (yes, EGM will return in some form). That's because I don't subscribe to gaming rags anymore because they all suck... 'cept for the Escapist.

PC Gamer (UK) by far. It's the only gaming magazine I've ever liked enough to subscribe to. I am assuming we are only including paper-based hard copy magazines in this discussion, otherwise The Escapist is up there as well.

Along with gamepro, i used to read OXM and EGM.
