King of the Hill was/is a smart show. I'll admit to not watching it in a while, but I remember the humor being very smart.

Family Guy....it's funny. It's random. There's no damn plot, just excuses for more sight gags, but who cares?

They are both good, entertaining shows.

I like King of the Hill more at the moment, but that's only because I've seen almost every episode of Family Guy more than once by now.
